Clarifying the Truth at the Monthly Symposium of the Chicago International Association for Near-Death Studies

(Clearwisdom.net) On December 13 the Chicago International Association for Near-Death Studies held a monthly symposium to discuss spiritual matters. Falun Gong practitioners participated in the symposium and clarified the truth to more than 100 participants.

To begin the symposium, organizer Ms. Diane Willis introduced the Falun Gong representative, Donna, immediately after her brief opening remarks. Donna first introduced the audience to the basic principles of Falun Gong and the easy to learn exercises. She then went on to tell the participants about the current brutal persecution of Falun Dafa in China. She explained how nine of her friends are currently imprisoned in China.

Many participants read materials about Falun Gong which were brought to them by practitioners. Many members of the Chicago International Association for Near-Death Studies have received inspiration in the spiritual field and are strongly pursuing further understanding of the spirit. They not only believe in re-incarnation of our spirit but also in the existence of higher beings. This is because either they themselves or possibly their friends or relatives have had some kind of unusual experience, unexplained by modern science, which encouraged them to explore the spiritual field. Among these people is former Vice President of ABC Mr. Charles Graybar.

After the meeting more than half the participants approached the Falun Gong practitioners and asked for more information. Some of them expressed their willingness to learn the exercises and others offered to provide venues free of charge for Falun Gong practitioners to teach the exercises.
