Holding Fast to Righteous Thoughts, Dissolving Danger and Difficulties

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner A was arrested because she had a connection to another practitioner who had been arrested. She kept telling the truth about Dafa no matter where she went and persistently sent forth righteous thoughts. With the help of the practitioners outside who kept sending forth righteous thoughts, she was released five days later. Another time she went with her husband to post information explaining the truth about Falun. She was spotted, and taken to a street precinct. As usual, she persistently resisted her captors' persecution attempts and used every bit of valuable time to tell the truth about Dafa. They released her that same night.

Dafa practitioner B was arrested and taken to a street police station because she posted large amounts of Dafa truth-clarifying materials openly in her work place. She kept sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil in other dimensions behind this persecution. The police in the station did not even dare to look into her eyes, and she stayed in the police station for only one night. Nobody was there to watch her the next morning, so she walked out of the station with dignity and went back home.

One day when I was posting Dafa truth-clarifying materials in a residential area, a security guard spotted me. He looked at me, then looked at the wall with his flashlight and walked away.

The second day my niece and I went out for truth clarification. I was watching a little child by the roadside and my niece went to an alley to post a flyer. One couple from a family saw her. The husband asked the wife to go over to see what my niece wrote and he shouted, "Stop! What are you doing?" My mindset became alert and I sent forth righteous thoughts. My niece said, "All I am doing are good things!" He grabbed the flyer away from my niece and asked, "What is this?" At this moment, the wife came over and whispered to him, "Falun Gong." The husband extended his hand and returned the flyer to my niece. We then went to another place to keep clarifying the truth.

Master said, "The old forces don't dare to oppose our clarifying the truth or saving sentient beings. What is the key is to not let them take advantage of the gaps in your state of mind when you do things." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston, April 27, 2002") I came to understand that things happen because of our mindset. If we are not resolute, if we are nervous and fearful, such a mentality will ill serve us, and the old forces will take advantage of those habits. But, when we held up our righteous thoughts and faced the potential danger, the potential danger went away.
