(Clearwisdom.net) On January 20, 2004, representatives of the
"World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong" in
Vancouver, Friends of Falun Gong at British Columbia Province and Falun Gong
practitioners from Vancouver jointly held a press conference outside the
Vancouver Art Museum. At the press conference, it was announced that the organizations would seek
to bring to justice those criminals who persecuted Falun Gong practitioners with
the "Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Program ¨C CAHWCP". The
sanctions include rejecting visa applications, revoking Canadian citizenship and
deportation, and being prosecuted according to relevant Canadian laws on crimes
against humanity and war crimes. As this plan is executed, those who have persecuted Falun Gong will not be
able to easily enter Canada, and those Chinese government officials who are
responsible for the persecution of Falun Gong can no longer resort to fleeing to
Canada in order to avoid the punishment of law. Last September, the Falun Dafa Association of Canada provided evidence of 15
Chinese officials who persecuted Falun Gong to the Canadian government. The list
includes former Chinese chairman Jiang Zemin. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police
confirmed that they have set up the case file. If anyone on the list enters
Canada, the police will immediately start an investigation and may take further
action. At present, the "World Organization to Investigate the Persecution
of Falun Gong" is collecting more evidence and names to provide to the
Canadian government. The Jiang regime has tried very hard to cover up their persecution of Falun
Gong in China. However, these crimes are being exposed to the world more and
more. Many governments of the world, human rights organizations and people in
society have recognized the brutal facts of the persecution in China. The day
when those responsible for the persecution are held accountable is drawing near. On the same day, press conferences were held simultaneously in Toronto,
Ottawa and other large cities. Former council member of Human Rights
Organization of BC province Mary Woo Sim and representatives from Amnesty
International attended the press conference. Vancouver's local multi-cultural Chinese TV station and the World Journal
reported on the event.
