Clarifying the Truth in Chinatown With Photo Display Boards and Televisions Is Part of My Cultivation Path

(Clearwisdom.net) Since the persecution of Falun Dafa began in 1999, many Dafa practitioners have adopted all kinds of methods to clarify the truth. Handing out flyers in the street, putting up photo display boards or playing videotapes have all become very important ways to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa.

Saturday morning is the busiest time in Chicago's Chinatown. 23rd Street is the main street through Chinatown. We have been able to put up photo display boards there and hand out flyers, giving us direct contact with the Chinese people and giving them the opportunity to learn the truth about Falun Dafa.

As pedestrians pass by, some would stop and have a look at the photos and some would stop to chat with practitioners to learn more about the truth about Falun Dafa. It is usually difficult to clarify the truth to the Chinese people. We need to answer their questions, clear up their doubts, and move their hearts with our own righteous actions. Some have even expressed their sympathy toward our situation, some have praised what we were doing and hoped that we would continue, and others didn't have anything to say except a smile or a nod of their heads. The silent smile and their heartfelt feelings of support are of great encouragement to us.

Western tourists who come to visit Chinatown have become one of our main targets for truth-clarification. In addition a lot of Americans have also heard about Falun Dafa for the very first time. They are attracted by the lovely music and graceful movements. When they learn that Falun Dafa is still being persecuted in China, many will denounce the brutality of the Chinese rulers and express their sympathy to us. I still remember when one elderly lady hugged me and said, "Persist in what you are doing. You are right and wish you good luck!" On hearing those words my I felt tears start to well up in my eyes'.

Once when we were pushing big screen televisions to set up, a man came up and said to us, "Falun Dafa is such a good exercise, you guys should come out more often." These words made me feel very much ashamed. 'He was right. Hasn't our Teacher been waiting for us to awaken? He hopes that we can become righteous and noble Dafa practitioners and truly take on the mission of saving the sentient beings. Have I met the requirement? I felt very bad. However,

Teacher's words have inspired me. I should have the courage and determination to overcome my mistakes. With these righteous thoughts it has helped me to become even more diligent.

We have clarified the truth with the photo display boards and television for several years now, however the persecution is still going on in China so there is still a need for us to continue to clarify the truth. Teacher does not want to give up on a single life, so we should not give up on any chance to save sentient beings. So long as they want to learn Dafa we must help them without any conditions. The photos we displayed and the television programs we played show the righteous and noble side of Dafa. The great mercy is able to melt their iron hearts, and in the near future they will be able to see the greatness of Dafa!
