(Clearwisdom.net) In the recent article "Master's Fa Taught in the International Teleconference," Master Li mentioned the book Jing Shui Liu Shen. The author is a practitioner from Beijing. Her hometown is in Sichuan Province. She was held in a labor camp in Beijing. Unable to endure the torture, she was willingly transformed. She uses the excuse that she allowed herself to be transformed so that she could leave China to validate Dafa. She even helped a fellow practitioner write a guarantee statement, who was also transformed. She later went to Australia and published her book through a publishing company owned by a non-practitioner.

After acknowledging this book has a certain effect in exposing the evil and saving people, Master also pointed out,

"As far as its content goes, many passages in the book were written with human attachments. We absolutely cannot promote among students somebody's being attached to writing a book to expose the persecution and for that purpose being transformed by the evil. Do you know what 'transformation' means? In fact, what Gods see is: the person got out of there to expose the evil because she could no longer endure it, and her pursuit of getting out was really an attachment that she wasn't able to let go. Under absolutely no circumstance should a Dafa disciple be transformed by the evil--even if it's to expose the persecution. Besides, exposing the persecution is not the ultimate purpose of a Dafa disciple's cultivation. So we cannot have other students who haven't completely removed their human attachments follow suit, and even less so should the book be promoted among students on the websites for students."

Before the teleconference, some overseas practitioners not clear on Fa principles and with strong attachments, as well as some practitioners in China who actively transmit information, have been passing this book around. They asked the author to give a keynote speech at a Fa conference. They promoted the book among practitioners and even admired the author. Some practitioners said her transformation was a "tremendous sacrifice" she made in order to expose the evil, which is completely wrong. Transforming to the evil is validating the evil; only refusing to be transformed to the evil under any kind of pressure is validating Dafa. Using any excuse to transform to the evil is betraying Dafa and Master, and at the same time, giving up one's qualification as a cultivator, and committing the sin of damaging Dafa. All gods clearly see all of this and no excuse or reasoning can cover up the facts.

The Christians did not give up their faith even after more than 300 years of persecution, and many ancient Chinese people would rather give up their life than yield to a certain persecution or break even a single promise they made. Dafa practitioners are beings who have obtained the Fa, the cultivators who have given themselves to Master at the very moment they decided to practice cultivation in Dafa, so how can they betray their faith and betray Master when tribulations arise? Dafa practitioners must never acknowledge or imitate any action that transforms to the evil.

Not being able to give up human emotions including attachments to oneself is an enormous barrier and restriction for cultivators, and it is a main cause for many practitioners to suffer tribulations and to be transformed. Of course, giving up human emotions doesn't mean being void of feelings, because being void of feelings itself is a strong and degenerate emotion. Cultivators should never become attached to emotions, or otherwise, our judgment would be affected, the ability of tolerance and cultivators' capacity would be limited at critical times.

Among those who avidly promoted this book among practitioners or who liked reading this book themselves, the majority of them forgot the standard of Fa-rectification when sympathizing with the author's experiences inside the labor camp. Some practitioners admired the author's good looks and her achievements in society, or they simply distributed the book without a second thought when they saw a practitioner wrote the book. Overall, this incident shows that some practitioners still have many human attachments and are far from looking at things with a cultivator's righteous thoughts at all times. We must awaken and learn our lesson.

I hope all Dafa disciples inside and outside of China can keep a clear and rational mind, don't let anything interfere with our process of validating Dafa and saving sentient beings. Take solid steps on the path Master arranged for us to Godhood.
