(Clearwisdom.net) 1. [Beijing City] Many Falun Dafa Practitioners Who Make Truth-Clarifying
Materials Are Jailed Recently, many Beijing Falun Dafa practitioners who participated in making
truth-clarifying materials were secretly tried and sentenced. Among them are: Ms. Li Li, 9 year prison sentence Ms. Liu Limin, 8 year prison sentence We are not sure about the names of the others. They have all been sentenced
to at least one year in prison. The majority of Falun Dafa practitioners who were arrested for making
truth-clarifying materials in Beijing are detained at the Fengtai Detention
Center. There are over one hundred of them. Some of them have been illegally
detained for as long as two years beyond the completion of their terms. 2. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Brutal Torture Used at Suihua
Detention Center Police guards at the Suihua Detention Center instructed criminals to prick
male practitioners with needles. They press a needle into practitioners' flesh
about one centimeter in depth and then pull it out, again and again, which made
the practitioners shake and spasm. The detention center once force-fed a female practitioner with five bottles
of corn porridge, and five one-liter bottles of spring water. The practitioner
almost died, as the corn mixture swelled in her stomach. A 19-year-old girl was
force-fed three bottles and choked on it. One practitioner was force-fed every
other day for nearly two months. In the end, she became extremely weak and
skinny, and was unrecognizable. Her blood pressure dropped dangerously. Her life
is still in great danger. In spite of the torture, the police guards still try
to extort money from these practitioners. 3. [Hancheng County, Henan Province] Practitioner Yang Zhi Arrested Again Yang Zhi, a senior practitioner from Yanglaojia, Wutai Town of Hancheng
County, was detained at Xuchang Forced Labor Camp for insisting on practicing
Falun Dafa. Tan Huilin and some other policemen from the Politics & Security
Team of Hancheng Public Security Bureau were involved in his arrest. After two
years of forced labor he was released in January 2003. However Tan Hilin and
other policemen kept harassing him at home. If he was away for a little while,
the policemen would look for him everywhere. Yang Zhi had to leave his home and
all his assets behind to avoid this persecution. On December 24, 2003
(Wednesday), Yang Zhi was arrested once again by Luyi Public Security Bureau.
Currently he is being detained at Luyi Detention Center, where he held a hunger
strike, protesting the illegal detention. Yang Zhi's family members and his
elderly mother went to the Public Security Bureau many times asking for his
release and were refused. 4. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Xiong Wenyi's Vehicle Held for
No Reason In the evening of January 13, 2004, a group of people, claiming they were
from the National Security Bureau in Wuhan City, abducted Xiong Wenyi and drove
away one of his vehicles. A person named Zhang Gang is involved in the
abduction. He claimed he was a section director of the National Security Bureau
in Wuhan City. Another man named Tan Yongming is involved as well. Currently
Xiong Wenyi has been released, but his vehicle is still been held. 5. [Heilong Female Prison, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners
Detained at Heilongjiang Female Prison Appreciate the Support from Fellow
Practitioners Greetings to practitioners in China and abroad! We thank you for the support
and the appeal you did for practitioners in detention. The truth-clarifying
letters you mailed and the phone calls you made to the guards here shocked them.
They are very much afraid of your voice for justice. Practitioners detained here
are determined to do well in our cultivation path and live up to Teacher's
compassionate salvation. 6. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Kong Shufang Is Forcibly
Sent to Brainwashing Class Kong Shufang, a practitioner from Huaidi of Shijiazhuang City, was forcibly
abducted on November 14, 2003 for allowing a Falun Dafa practitioner to stay at
her place temporarily. According to police from Huaidi Police Substation, they
followed that practitioner for a long time. They took away a notebook, a
printer, a photocopier, and some materials from the practitioner's room. The
practitioner escaped with righteous thoughts after arrest. At the police
substation, Kong Shufang appeared to be in ill health. Through a medical
examination she was found to have insufficient blood at her cardiac muscle.
However, she was still forcibly sent to the brainwashing class, where she was
forced to watch the brainwashing videos. 7. [Gaoyi County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Guo Xinxian Is Sentenced to
Forced Labor Again Guo Xinxian, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Xibeiying of Gaoyi County was
unlawfully arrested on November 5, 2003. Recently this practitioner was
sentenced to a three-year term of forced labor and sent to Shijiazhuang Forced
Labor Camp. 8. [Tengcheng City, Hebei Province] Practitioners Jun Yan and Zheng Shujun
Detained at Brainwashing Class Ms. Jun Yan, a practitioner from Gangshang Village, Gangshang Town of
Tengcheng City, was reported to police. Led by the director of the Women's
Association of the Village, a group of policemen arrested her at the shoe
company where she works. She was sent to the "Legal Education Center" (actually
a brainwashing center). Several days later, Ms. Zheng Shujun from the same
village was abducted and sent to the same brainwashing center. 9. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Jin Jingxian Illegally
Arrested Practitioner Ms. Jin Jingxian, 65, is from Caoxuan Minority. In 2002, she was
sentenced to forced labor for going to Beijing to validate the great Fa. Later
she was fined 3,000 Yuan before being released on bail for medical treatment. On
December 29, 2003 she was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying materials.
Policemen Sun Lizhong and Yang Dongsheng searched her home. Her daughter-in-law
(a non-practitioner) was beaten and wounded on the arm for resisting the illegal
search. 10. [Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp, Gansu Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Qian
Shiguan's Ribs Are Broken During Torture Sessions Qian Shiguan was subject to brutal torture at the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp in
2003 simply because he resisted forced brainwashing. He was required to sit in a
punishing position for a long time and was beaten by criminals detained in the
camp for drug-addiction, theft, and other crimes. Consequently, two of his ribs
were broken. 11. [Beijing City] Practitioner Liu Lan Is Missing over Half a Year Mr. Liu Lan, 30, from Shiyan of Hubei Province, graduated from Beijing
University of Aerospace Technology. He lives in Beijing City. On October 28,
2002 he and a female practitioner were arrested by "610 Office" clerks who broke
into the place where they were making truth-clarifying materials. Later they
were sent to the Fengtai Detention Center in Beijing City. Since May 2003 their
whereabouts are unknown, despite every effort to locate them. The Fengtai
Detention Center did not acknowledge that Liu Lan had been detained there. Liu Lan has been illegally arrested about eight times for validating Falun
Dafa. He escaped nobly each time with Teacher's help and his righteous thoughts
and righteous behavior, by going on hunger strike for a long time. We haven't
heard anything about Liu Lan for over half a year and are very concerned about
his current situation. 12. [Liaozhong County, Liaoning Province] "Implication System" Employed in
Liaozhong County Ye Qiuzhong is a teacher at the No. 2 Junior High School of Liaozhong County.
On December 10, 2003 Ye was arrested and detained at the No. 4 Detention Center
in Shenyang City for explaining the truth of Falun Dafa to the students. Some
officers in Liaozhong County followed Jiang's regime closely in persecuting
Falun Gong. They carried out an "implication system" and deposed the principal
of the No. 2 Junior High School and the director of the Education Bureau in
Liaozhong County. 13. [Beijing City] Doctor in Charge of Acupuncture Section at Beijing
Sino-Japanese Friendship Hospital Abducted Zhao Yuxian, 43, graduated from the Chinese Medicine University with a
Masters degree. He works at the Acupuncture Section of Beijing Sino-Japanese
Friendship Hospital. As a Falun Gong practitioner, he has been illegally
detained and subject to forced brainwashing many times. On October 31, 2003 he
was abducted again. His whereabouts are currently unknown. 14. [Wushe County, Henan Province] Practitioner Chen Jinping Arrested Ms. Chen Jinping is an employee from the Yanjiao Road & Bridge Company in
Sanhe City of Hebei Province. While she was distributing truth-clarifying
materials in her hometown in Wushe County of Henan Province, someone reported
her activities. At the time she was visiting her relatives. Wushe Public
Security Bureau went to Sanhe City many times in an attempt to abduct her, but
failed. At noon on January 7, 2004, when she was off from work, police from
Wushe Public Security Bureau finally abducted her. 15. [Jinzai County, Anhui Province] Practitioners Liu Jinping and Du Xiaofang
Illegally Detained On the afternoon of January 9, 2004 Ms. Liu Jinping and Ms. Du Xiaofang from
Jinzai County went to the Hongchong Township High School to clarify the truth of
Falun Dafa and distribute truth-clarifying materials. However, the head of the
village reported their activities. The "610 Office" from the county went to pick
them up at Hongchong Township Police Substation the same day they were arrested.
Currently, they are being detained at Jinzai Detention Center. Cao Zhi, vice
director of Section One of the Jinzai Public Security Bureau, and some policemen
from the Hongchong Township Police Substation are in charge of interrogation of
the two practitioners. Relevant phone numbers: 16. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Practitioner Hu Enkui Detained Mr. Hu Enkui, 36, is a physics teacher from Yicheng High School, west of
Hefei City. On October 23, 2003 he was abducted. Soon after, according to
witnesses, three armed policemen escorted him to a place in Wenchang New
Village. At the time, his face was swollen and bruised. After arrival, he was
cuffed to a window. Currently he is still being detained at the newly built No.
2 Detention Center at Hefei City. It was built specifically for persecuting
Falun Gong. Another practitioner named Ma Yulan who is nearly 70 years old was
abducted while at home. Currently she is being kept at the No. 1 Detention
Center in Hefei City. 17. [Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province] Belated News: 60-year-old Jiang
Lianhua Destitute and Homeless Due to Persecution On May 13, 2003 Yuan Chunlin, team head of the Zhuanghe Neighborhood
Committee, reported 60-year-old Jiang Lianhua to the police. After taking Jiang
Lianhua from her home, Sun Jingxian and four policemen from Xinhua Police
Substation broke into her home and did an illegal search. With Teacher's
protection and her own righteous thoughts, Jiang Lianhua escaped from the
control of the evil police. Presently, she is homeless and wanders from place to
place in order to avoid illegal detention again.
