(Clearwisdom.net) I was illegally detained on June 4, 2002 when then police forced their way into my room in search of the whereabouts of two other practitioners. They used truth-clarifying materials and Dafa books as an excuse to send me to a detention center and later sentenced me to three years of forced labor. At the labor camp, I immediately refused when a captain asked me whether I want to have my sentenced reduced. They wanted to shake practitioners' righteous thought by reducing their sentences, which was useful bait. Since we completely deny the arrangement of the old forces, we cannot even acknowledge the sentence itself.

Every time the police wanted a "Summary" and "After thoughts" from me, I would write down the truth of the persecution. When I learned that many places in the world have filed lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, it was a great encouragement for me. It occurred to me that I could use legal approaches to reveal the evil. I wrote to the labor camp and to the supervising office from the Procuratorate in the labor camp to tell them the real situation. I did not overdo it with strong words; I only revealed the truth of the persecution. The labor camp and the supervising office found the Bureau of Public Safety and the Bureau found the branch of the department in charge. It had only taken them six days to release me. The police had sentenced me to labor camp until November 2005, but they let me out in six days. Through this incident, I realized that

1. Our own attitude must be pure and we must remove the attachment of being afraid. I was not afraid of the upcoming suffering and did not have a selfish and lazy mindset of wanting to get out of there soon. I had only one thought: the only meaning of my existence in this human world was to save sentient beings.

2. Completely deny the arrangement of the old forces. I only acknowledge Teacher's arrangement and would not recognize the sentence, let alone take the reduced sentence to humiliate Dafa and myself. The next day after I filled out the release form, the police wanted me to fill out a questionnaire. I nobly and righteously answered all questions based on Fa and walked out of the den of evil the next day. I only spent a total of six days there.

3. Do not overreact and use strong words. The truth needs to be clearly expressed. I feel that as long as we stand on the base of Fa-rectification and put down our human notions, Teacher can help us with everything.
