Mr. Sun Ke is Arrested and Beaten for Exposing the Persecution of His Family Member, a Falun Gong Practitioner (Clearwisdom.net) On December 18, 2003, Mr. Sun Ke, a resident of Dehui City,
was kidnapped and mercilessly beaten by police from the criminal guard section
of the public security bureau for exposing the crimes perpetrated against his
relative Sun Qian, a Falun Gong practitioner. Now, Sun Ke is imprisoned in the
detention center of Dehui City. In order to cover their crimes, Wang Zhenfeng
and other people from the public security bureau are attempting to sentence him
to the forced labor camp. On December 18, 2003, the municipal court of Dehui held an illegal trial of
thirteen Falun Gong practitioners who were still being imprisoned after their
initial terms expired. After the court session began, Sun Ke, a family member of
Falun Gong practitioner Sun Qian, exposed the crimes committed by the public
security system in Dehui inside the courtroom. He told people how Sun Qian was
detained beyond his term, and how he was tortured in an attempt to elicit a
confession. After the court session ended, however, Sun Ke was illegally
kidnapped near the warning line outside the gate of the court by several
policemen from the criminal guard section of the Dehui Municipal Public Security
Bureau. The person who directed the abduction of Sun Ke was Li Jin, the
commissar of the criminal guard section of the Dehui Municipal Public Security
Bureau. After Sun Ke was taken to the Dehui Municipal Public Security Bureau, in the
guard room, policemen Wang Chunsheng, Xiu Chuang and Li Feng started their
brutal attack of Mr. Sun. They used their fists to fiercely strike his forehead,
waist, and back; and used their feet to kick his abdomen. They also unceasingly
cursed at him. Policeman Xiu Chuang caught hold of Mr. Sun's cotton-filled
jacket and used it to cover his mouth and said: "We are going to choke you to
death!" Policeman Wang Chunsheng said: "Let's find a cap to cover his head and
beat him!" They could not find a cap, but they fiercely beat him anyway. After
that, Wang Chunsheng, Xiu Chuang and Li Feng made false accusations and
illegally detained Mr. Sun. Fearing their crimes of mercilessly beating and
bullying civilians might be exposed, these unlawful policemen are currently
fabricating charges against Sun Ke. Wang Zhenfeng and others from the Legal
Systems Division of the public security bureau are leading the efforts. They
plan to send Mr. Sun to a forced labor camp to be further persecuted. After Sun Ke's arrest, his 79-year-old mother, his wife, and his 7-year-old
child are left at home without any source of income and with no one to take care
of them. Thereby, we urgently appeal to all people from all walks of life to pay
close attention to this matter, and to see clearly the despicable conduct and
the evil intention of the illegal acts of personnel from the Dehui Municipal
Public Security Bureau. Please extend your righteous hands to support and rescue
Mr. Sun, who is being illegally detained in the Dehui Municipal Detention
