To Alleviate Jiang Zemin's Fears Regarding The Truth of His Regime's Murder of Mr. Liu Chengjun Becoming Widely Known, Xinhua News Publishes A Fabricated Story Slandering Falun Gong to Distract Attention By Minghui reporter Ouyang Fei
(Clearwisdom.net) Even on New Years Eve of 2003, Xinhua News (the
official news agency of the Chinese Communist government) was still hard at it
to slander Falun Gong. The state's official news agency published a fabricated
story, claiming that a homeless man, named Chen Fuzhao, was a Falun Gong
practitioner and that he was sentenced to death for killing people in poisoning
them. We note that this poisoning incidence occurred between May and June of
2003. The homeless man, Chen Fuzhao, murdered 15 out-of-town beggars. Why did Xinhua News choose to publish another slanderous story at year-end
2003? Was it no more than coincidence that Jiang Zemin's evil political cohorts
had tortured Mr. Liu Chengjun only shortly before this story was published? Liu
Chengjun was a Falun Gong practitioner who had broadcasted TV programs
clarifying the truth about Falun Gong on Changchun City cable TV network in
March of 2002. [There are no available venues for Falun Gong practitioners to
defend themselves against the government's fabricated accusations and slanderous
publications.] It is important to note that Mr. Liu Chengjun's wrongful
death has triggered a series of protests worldwide. Immediately after Jiang Zemin's group of political cohorts had murdered Mr.
Liu Chengjun, Xinhua News started a new round of persecution in 2004 by
associating a public assassin with Falun Gong. Falun Gong's teaching without doubt forbid killing. [The founder of Falun
Gong Mr. Li Hongzhi sets forward in his book Zhuan Falun (a main study
text for Falun Gong practitioners, ISBN: 1931412537), "For practitioners,
we have set the strict requirement that they cannot kill lives." ("The
Issue of Killing" in Lecture Seven of Zhuan Falun)] Xinhua News invented an absurd theory that was contrary to Falun Gong's
principles in an article dated July 2, 2003. They claimed that Chen Fuzhao
murdered 15 beggars because of the Falun Gong principles. [As of July 20,
1999, Jiang Zemin banned all Falun Gong's books, videos and audios in China.
Thus, people in China are unable to obtain a copy of Zhuan Falun to discover
Xinhua News' fabricated stories.] Xinhua News published the reasons why Chen
Fuzhao, whom they claimed to be a Falun Gong practitioner, must kill people.
They said that only thus could he rise in his cultivation level. The report
claimed that being a beggar would help achieve the highest level of cultivation
and, therefore, Chen Fuzhao must kill beggars. Xinhua News' invented version was illogical and preposterous. While it may be
technically difficult to become a millionaire, far fewer difficulties are found
when one wishes to become a beggar. If one is determined to become a beggar, one
simply abandons everything one owns, becomes a street person, and begs for food
with a begging bowl. That is all it takes to reach the so-called "highest
cultivation level" based on Xinhua News' theory of cultivation. Why even
make the effort to kill people? Apparently Xinhua News had realized how foolish it was for publishing such an
absurd story. Thus, when it decided at the end of 2003 to again slander Falun
Gong, it changed its story and no longer claimed that being a beggar would allow
one to reach the highest level of cultivation when it revisited the criminal
indictment of Chen Fuzhao. To prove its point to the public, Xinhua News made up
an equally bizarre and absurd cultivation theory. It now alleged that Chen
Fuzhao tried to "increase the ˇ®potency of his energy' by killing
people." It no longer asserted that being a beggar would allow one to reach
the highest level of cultivation; it now claimed that, "Chen Fuzhao made
beggars and homeless men his killing targets." Actually, even CCTV (Chinese Communist government's official TV station)
wasn't willing to pick up Xinhua News' preposterous theory in their separate
effort to slander Falun Gong. On July 14, 2003, more than 10 days after Xinhua
News published its article on Chen Fuzhao. CCTV announced another equally
preposterous cultivation theory in its "Focus Interview." CCTV
creative juices let it invent a different cultivation theory, called
"Reverse Cultivation," which it expounded on during its talk show
"Focus Interview." CCTV stated that once a cultivator has reached a
specific level based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and
Tolerance, he has to cultivate himself based on the opposites of Truthfulness,
Compassion and Tolerance. CCTV claimed this to be the "real" reason
why Chen Fuzhao killed people. As to why Chen Fuzhao killed only beggars,
"Focus Interview" said it was a pure coincidence. CCTV's "Reverse Cultivation" is even more illogical than Xinhua
News' theory. If trying to become a man of high morality will eventually make a
man depraved, does CCTV imply that, by following Jiang Zemin's wicked deeds, the
Chinese society will sooner or later return to morality? Every time Jiang Zemin's group of political cohorts slandered Falun Gong to
instigate people's hatred toward Falun Gong, it fabricated all sorts of lies,
which was essential in support of their lies, as they could not quote directly
from any of the Falun Gong's books. Why couldn't they quote directly from Falun
Gong's books to support these slanderous reports? The reasons are clearly stated
in Falun Gong texts that Mr. Li Hongzhi strictly forbids Falun Gong
practitioners to kill lives or commit suicide. "For practitioners, we have set the strict requirement that they
cannot kill lives." ("The
Issue of Killing" in Lecture Seven of Zhuan Falun) (Zhuan
Falun is the main study text for Falun Gong practitioners) "Question: The third question is the issue of killing as mentioned in
the book. Killing a life is a very big sin. If a person commits suicide, does
it count as a sin or not? Master: It counts as a sin. [...] Committing suicide has another sin. This
is because a person's life is pre-arranged. You have disrupted the sequence of
the god's entire layout. Through the obligations you carry out to society,
between people there is this kind of interrelationship. If the person dies,
won't this entire sequence disrupt the god's arrangement then? If you disrupt
it, he will not let you go. Therefore, committing suicide is sinful."
("Falun Dafa
Lecture in Sydney") Jiang Zemin's group of political cohorts recognizes quite clearly that Falun
Gong forbids killing and suicide, so they destroyed and banned Falun Gong books
in China. They wanted to assure that non-practitioners in China would be unable
to verify the information and thus discover the preposterous lies disseminated
about Falun Gong. Their lies have become so illogical that even their fellow
conspirators find each other's versions ridiculous. The Chinese official news began using Chen Fuzhou's murder to slander Falun
Gong in July 2003. It was because July 20 was an unforgettable day for Falun
Gong practitioners. On July 20, 1999, Jiang Zemin ignored everyone else's
favorable opinion and intentionally began the public persecution of Falun Gong.
Since then, Falun Gong practitioners throughout the world have and will continue
to hold public protests, calling for an end to the persecution against Falun
Gong. With July 20, 2003 approaching, Jiang Zemin ordered the Chinese media to
publish slanderous reports as he wanted to instigate people's hatred towards
Falun Gong. He needed to justify his persecution against Falun Gong. To reach
their intend, they claimed that Chen Fuzhao was a Falun Gong practitioner and
that he followed Falun Gong's teaching by killing people. The aforementioned serial killing case was not the only of its kind. Another
such serial type murder case happened in Zhejiang Province a month before Chen
Fuzhao committed murder. A man called Chen Yongfeng killed ten beggars and
dismembered nine bodies. The frequency and brutality of these serial murder
cases reveal an acute social problem in Zhejiang Province. Why is Jiang Zemin's
group of political cohorts unable or unwilling to restore public safety and
social order in that area? Why are they using the security resources for
persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, people who are known to be of high
morality? According to Xinhua News, it was under the direct
"supervision" of the Minister of Public Security Ministry, Mr. Zhou
Yongkang, that the murder case of Chen Fuzhao in Zhejiang Province was quickly
solved. Who is Mr. Zhou Yongkang? He is one of the key collaborators with Jiang
Zemin in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. When he visited the United
States, Falun Gong practitioners in the United States filed a civil lawsuit
against Zhou Yongkang and served him a United States Federal Court official
summons. If one has paid attention to Xinhua News' reports over the years, one will
discover that murders by poisoning are widespread in today's problematic Chinese
society. It is an indisputable fact that Falun Gong forbids its practitioners to
kill or commit suicide. There are no "facts" against Falun Gong to
support Jiang Zemin's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Jiang Zemin's
group of evil political cohorts has to lie to the Chinese people that Falun Gong
practitioners kill people to cultivate Falun Gong while banning Falun Gong
books, which would expose their lies, so they could instigate and sustain
Chinese people's hatred against Falun Gong. There is another downside to CCTV's cultivation theory. If Chen Fuzhou was
cultivating according to "Reverse Cultivation", or according to the
"reverse" of Falun Gong's teaching, then, logically speaking, Chen
Fuzhao's killing behavior would have nothing to do with Falun Gong. For example, if an operator refuses to follow the safety instructions while
operating machinery, and insists on doing the opposite of the safety
instructions, is anyone entitled to attack the validity of the safety
instruction, or the man who acted directly opposite to the safety instructions? If one is indeed entitled to attack the validity of the safety instructions,
then, by the same logic, one is entitled to attack everything in the world. Xinhua News also said in the report, "During the trial, the defendant
Mr. Chen Fuzhao and his attorney were given sufficient opportunities for
defense. The local residents of different walks of life also sat through the
trial and heard the judge's verdict." I cannot help questioning the truthfulness when Xinhua News said "local
residents of different walks of life also sat through the trial." Were
Falun Gong practitioners allowed to attend this trial? Were Falun Gong
practitioners allowed to testify that Mr. Chen Fuzhao was not doing anything
remotely close to what Falun Gong requires of its practitioners? I think we can
reach a conclusion by reviewing what happened when Chinese Communist Party
leaders visit foreign countries. Once it was found that a journalist was also a
Falun Gong practitioner, the Chinese embassy or consulate staff used all kinds
of underhanded tactics to assure that him/her was not allowed to participate.
They wanted to assure that they could not contradict the visiting Chinese
Communist Party leaders. Thus, it follows that if the Chinese Communist
government does not allow Falun Gong practitioners to participate in a public
event in democratic countries, what would they do during such mock trials in
China. In conclusion, the year-end 2003 Xinhua News' slanderous report has once
again confirmed that Xinhua News understood nothing about Falun Gong and that
Chen Fuzhao was not a Falun Gong practitioner. Posting date: 1/7/2004 |
