We Should Stress the Importance of Face-to-Face Truth Clarification

(Clearwisdom.net) I was sharing cultivation experiences with a practitioner today and the practitioner asked me, "I often come across these type of people when I clarify the truth about Falun Gong on the bus: They've received the informational pamphlets and VCDs about Falun Gong, and claimed that they have looked through the materials, but still do not understand the truth. Why do you think this happens?" I answered, "There must be a problem with the truth clarification materials, because people should understand right away after they read the materials." The practitioner said, "There's no problem with the truth clarification materials because they address only basic and fundamental issues." Then I replied, "Then it must the people's own problem! They are too lost in the maze and are impossible to save!" The practitioner said, "You are wrong again. After I explain the truth about Falun Dafa to them, they tell me that they understand. Can you still say it's impossible to save them?"

After the practitioner left, I was still pondering this issue: This persecution against Falun Gong has lasted for five years. In those five years, we have never stopped sending out truth clarifying flyers and VCDs. However, there are still people who are confused or have no clue of what the truth about Falun Dafa is. In the beginning, it was difficult for people to understand the truth because there were a lot of evil elements interfering and the contents of our truth-clarification materials were not satisfactory. Now that the evil elements have become insignificant and our truth-clarification materials are improving, why are there still a lot of people who have no idea about the most basic facts about Falun Gong and the persecution? Of course there are many reasons, but when I thought of Teacher's recent articles, "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People" and "Hurry Up and Tell Them," I feel the main reason is that we have not done enough face-to-face truth clarification.

People nowadays are mostly concerned about their own benefits and how to live comfortably. Even though they may have time to look through our flyers and VCDs, they may only quickly scan through the contents, so they cannot clearly understand the real truth of Falun Gong. For those who are tied up in business or work, they may not have enough time to understand the content in depth. Also there are some people who have limited or no education, and may have a challenging time comprehending the words and concepts of our truth-clarification videos. All of these deficiencies can be made up for by face-to-face truth clarification.

Currently in China, most people know something about Falun Dafa. They just have individual questions and misunderstandings that prevent them from fully understanding Dafa. If we can break through these barriers by talking to them and thus save them, why not do so?

My fellow practitioners, now is the time to clarify the truth face-to-face on a large scale. Let's review Teacher's words from, "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People:"
