The "610 Office" and "Anti-Terrorism"

(Clearwisdom.net) I was shocked when I heard the news that China's "610 Office," itself a terrorist organization, is playing a role in the government's anti-terrorist efforts during the October 1st National Day celebration. This absurd drama of "a thief crying 'stop the thief'" has actually started! Who is the director of this play?

As the truth about Falun Gong has become more widespread, the "610 Office" is becoming more familiar to the public. Founded by Jiang's regime on June 10, 1999, for the sole purpose of persecuting Falun Gong, the organization is unconstitutional and unlawful. "610" offices," directly controlled by Jiang, exist all over the country and have carried out state-condoned terrorism towards millions of Falun Gong practitioners and those who refuse to hate Falun Gong. In the past five years, the "610 Office" has been directly responsible for the abductions, detentions, brutal torture, and deaths of numerous practitioners. People call it the most powerful agency in China, just like the Gestapo during World War II. Knowing that the "610 Office," the largest terrorist organization in over 5,000 years of China's history, is taking a role in "anti-terrorism" is enough to make one's blood run cold .

The anti-terrorist efforts of other countries target those who make terrorist attacks against the country and its people. On the other hand, the "610 Office," newly labeled as an "anti-terrorist" organization, will be targeting dissidents, millions of unemployed people, many citizens who have been appealing their unjust treatment, and practitioners who believe in "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance."

In the past several years, practitioners have persevered in persisting in their belief, distributing truth-clarifying fliers, shouting out "Falun Dafa is good", unfurling banners that read "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance", and sending in letters of appeal on behalf of Falun Gong. Jiang's regime is extremely nervous about the above activities, because his regime is responsible for creating the lies and committing the murders and tortures. Otherwise, why would it be so fearful of the truth?

With the direct participation of the "610 Office," the persecution in China has resulted in great tragedies. According to incomplete statistics, by September 30, 2004, 1,060 practitioners are verified to have died of torture and other acts of persecution. At least 6,000 practitioners have been jailed. Over 100,000 people have been sent to labor camps, and thousands sent to mental hospitals to be injected with drugs that damage the central nervous system. Many more practitioners have been forced into brainwashing programs to be tortured both mentally and physically in order to try to force them to renounce their spiritual belief. Even more practitioners have been beaten, physically punished, and financially blackmailed by the "law enforcement personnel."

The Jiang regime and the "610 Office" under its control have been creating terror and exercising brutality. For doing so, lawsuits have been brought against the heads of the "610 Office" Jiang Zemin, Li Lanqing, Luo Gan, and Liu Jing in more than 10 countries outside China, charging them with genocide, torture and crimes against humanity.

How has the "610 Office" acted against terrorism? Here's an example. Right before October 1, Beijing was under tight control. The police searched and arrested unemployed workers, people who have been treated with injustice, Falun Gong practitioners, and any others who were appealing their cause to the government. All across the country, Falun Gong practitioners, unemployed workers, retired veterans, and dissidents were tightly monitored. Huge numbers of special agents, plainclothes and uniformed police tried to stop and arrest anyone who went to appeal. Near the appeal offices in Beijing, there were about 400-500 plainclothes police trying to stop anyone from seeking justice. The people who were trying to appeal said that there were more law enforcement personnel present stopping and arresting people than citizens seeking to make an appeal themselves.

On October 1, reporters took pictures of practitioners being beaten unconsciousness and dragged into a police vehicle, and then taken away from Tiananmen Square.

In the past five years of persecution, the "610 Office" has hired many thugs, wasting tremendous amounts of money collected from the people. A few days ago someone said, "Falun Gong's effort of peacefully resisting the persecution and clarifying the truth is becoming more vigorous, yet the Jiang regime and the '610 Office' have become notorious around the world and their days are numbered."

Until the malignant tumor of the "610 Office" is totally removed and the perpetrators are brought to justice, Jiang's followers will continue to do great harm. Let us work together to return Falun Gong's good reputation and bring Jiang, the "610 Office," and all the perpetrators to justice. This is the best way to eliminate terrorism and instability in China.
