Two Stories of Practitioners Clarifying the Truth

I am a fruit seller and I meet a lot of people each day. This provides me with good opportunities to tell people about the true facts regarding Falun Gong. Below are a few examples.

One day last spring, five people in a police car came to my store to buy melons. They asked me if the melons were ripe and sweet. I said, "Yes," and I cut one open for them to eat. They liked it and asked, "Are all these melons as sweet?" I replied, "Yes. I am a Falun Gong practitioner. We stress 'Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance.' I never lie to people." One of the men changed his look immediately and said sternly, "Do you know who we are?" I laughed, "Sure I do. I saw your car." He said, "We are from the prosecutor's office. I am going to write you up right now." I said, "You should not do that, because you know that I was thinking on your behalf. It is just like when a person is about to drown and another person saves him. The person who was saved would not turn around push his savior into the water. I know that you don't want people to lie to you, just like you don't want to be cheated by me and buy a bad melon." He was quite happy to hear this and his expression changed. He said, "True. Next time we want to buy fruit we will come here again."

On another occasion two men came to my store to buy fruit. I told them the facts about Falun Gong and let them know that I was a practitioner and that Falun Dafa is great. They did not say anything. A few days later they came again. As soon as they walked into the store they asked, "Is anyone here a Falun Gong practitioner?" My niece answered, "None of us are practitioners." But I said, "I am. Can I help you?" He was amused, and said, "Falun Gong practitioners indeed do not lie. We are here to buy some fruit." After they left, my niece said, "You know, that man was the chief of police!"

Another time I found a purse on the floor of my store with over two hundred yuan in it. I figured it must belong to the woman who supplies me with bananas. When the lady came in, I casually asked her if I needed to pay her cash for the goods. She said, "Yes," but her face suddenly fell when she reached for her purse, "I've lost my money." I showed her the purse. She was so happy she hugged me and said, "Thank you. Thank Falun Dafa."

There are many other similar examples. Many vendors yell, "Falun Dafa is great!" when they walk into my store. I always give them truth materials and VCD's, and they all take them gladly.

By continuously telling people the facts about Falun Gong during these years, I find that as long as we as practitioners act and behave righteously, let go of our own attachments, and always think about others first, the results will always be good. Over these past few years there have been many people who have heard me talking about the facts of Falun Gong or have taken flyers from me. Everyone in the marketplace knows that I am a Falun Gong practitioner and respects me and likes to buy fruit from me. I will work even harder in the future and do even better in telling people the facts and saving sentient beings.

It is now pear harvesting season in a certain county in Hebei Province. An older female practitioner went to help others after she had awoken before dawn to pick all the pears in her own orchard. She talked about the facts relating to Falun Gong when she helped others and would not stop even when a lot of people came to buy pears. She talked to one group of people after another. Her health was extremely poor before practicing Falun Gong, but now she is in excellent shape. She does not feel tired no matter how hard she works. Many people who learned the truth about Falun Gong from her say afterwards, "Falun Gong is great!" It is Jiang Zemin who lied to defame Falun Gong and persecute thousands and thousands of good people who adhere to "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance."
