Practitioner Ms. Dong Yanping from Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province Dies as a Result of Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Dong Yangping, 56 years old, was a staff member at the No. 54 Institute of the China Electronic Technology Group in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. As she persisted in practicing Falun Gong, her family was repeatedly persecuted by officers from the Keyuan Road Police Precinct in the Qiaoxi District's Police Department in Shijiazhuang City. Dong Yanping went into exile to avoid further persecution. She died tragically on September 28, 2004. Details are to be researched.

Dong Yanping had retired because of serious heart disease and had become unable to look after herself. Since she started to practice Falun Gong in 1994, she miraculously regained her health. Not only could she look after herself, but she also could do a lot of housework. Her husband and daughter also practice Falun Gong.

After July 20, 1999, when the practice was banned, she refused to give up Falun Gong practice. Consequently, Keyuan Road Police Precicnt personnel searched her home several times. On September 29, 2001 the police arrested her husband, daughter and her and took them to the police station. She was beaten and locked in a metal cage, doing her immense spiritual and bodily harm. During the daytime she was absentminded, and at night she could not sleep.

Later, her home was again searched several times and she was harassed.

On October 30, 2002, a group of people from the Keyuan Road Police Precinct banged on her door several times a day. Due to the extremely vicious harassment, she went into exile to avoid further persecution. It was reported that on February 6, 2004, personnel from the Keyuan Road Police Station arrested Dong Yanping again, in a residential area.

In April 2004, her work unit stopped paying her salary, so her financial resources were cut off. On September 28, 2004 she died tragically.

Keyuan Road Police from the Qiaoxi District Police Department in Shijiazhuang City colluded with some leaders in the No. 54 Institute to commit these crimes. They have arrested Falun Gong practitioners from the No. 54 Institute and taken them to brainwashing classes for persecution. The innocent people include Huang Yulan, Wu Fenglan, Jia Jian, Wang Aijun, Jing Xin, Guo Jinpeng, Cui Weina, Li Zengqing, Liu Wenxiu and others.
