Paralyzed for Several Years, a Man Is Able to Walk Again After Reading Zhuan Falun

(Clearwisdom.net) In 1994 I developed a very strange condition: I suddenly felt intolerable pain in a nerve in my right foot. The medical examination showed hyperplasia of the lumbar vertebrae. In order to alleviate the pain, I underwent surgery, which cost me 6,000 yuan. After returning home the condition recurred, and whatever medicine I took and whichever doctor I saw all seemed useless. My elder sister then scraped together 20,000 yuan and took me to a specialty hospital for an examination, which revealed that I had a brain tumor pressing on a nerve. We asked the best surgeon to remove the tumor. After the surgery, everybody thought that I was completely cured. But no more than a few months later, the condition recurred and became even more severe. I lay on a bamboo bed everyday, with a fan blowing on me. When an acute attack would occur, people had to wet me down with cold water. All the food I ate had to be cold. My wife assisted me with my bodily functions and rushed about for me. Because the pain was too severe to endure, many times I thought of death. I went to the hospital for help, but the doctors said that it was the scar tissue from the last surgery, and they could do nothing more for me. I then prepared my will and waited for death.

In June 1998, a friend sent me a copy of Zhuan Falun, claiming that this qigong was truly wonderful, and asked me to read it. I was skeptical, but I started to read the book. The first day I could only read one page. Later on I gradually became interested in it. I read it during the daytime; my wife read it at night. As a result, my energy level greatly improved. One evening a month later I began to walk, holding onto the bed frame with my hands. From then on I slowly stood up to do the exercises. During winter nights when I woke up, all my clothes were soaked through. I wondered, why did I sweat in such cold weather? Later, in reading Zhuan Falun, I realized that it was Master who was purifying my body.

When I was suffering from the disease, there were always many things that I couldn't understand. I wondered why I had so much karmic debt in this life, why this condition still didn't improve after I had endured two surgeries and had the tumor removed. Through studying Falun Dafa, all of my prior questions were answered. Falun Dafa enlightened my cultivation path. Master said, "Cultivation practice is the only way to find yourself comfortably free of illness and to accomplish the goal of being truly free!" (Zhuan Falun) Every word of Master's is absolutely true!

Because of Falun Dafa's mighty power, two months later I could stand up to do exercises, sit up to eat, and go to the toilet by myself. Everybody felt happy for me. In the following weeks my body continuously improved. Now I can do all kinds of farm work and can walk for almost four miles without feeling tired. From my own experiences of having benefited from Falun Dafa, and truly experiencing the wonders of Dafa, I want to tell everyone in the world, "Falun Dafa is what brought back my life! Falun Dafa gave me a second life!"
