Three Cases of Karmic Retribution in Xiangcheng City, Henan Province By a practitioner in China
(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic
retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions,
is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic
of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe
will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such
as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated
another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet
due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a
compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit
wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely
"following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held
responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of
wrongdoing may they escape retribution. Policewoman Luo Xiurong suffers mental problems and cerebral hemorrhage Policewoman Luo Xiurong, 44 years old, cruelly persecuted Falun Dafa
practitioners while working in a detention center in Xiangcheng City. Soon
after, she developed bone spurs in her cervical and lumbar vertebrae and heel
bone, and she also suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. Right after January 1, 2004, she started having mental problems. She sought
medical treatment, but she didn't dare to tell those who knew her that she was
ill, because she was afraid they would think she was receiving karmic
retribution. Some Falun Dafa practitioners had told her to treat Dafa
practitioners well. When she was asked why she persecuted Dafa practitioners,
she said she had followed the orders of Xie Zhongzhou, a member of the "610
Office." Chen Qingyi, Deputy Mayor of Xiangcheng City, killed in a traffic accident Deputy Mayor of Xiangcheng City Chen Qingyi, 47 years old, was head of the
propaganda department of Xiangcheng City and the director of the Office of the
City Committee. As head of propaganda, Chen fully used his powers to order and
incite the media to boldly attack and defame Dafa and its practitioners. At the beginning of September 2004, Chen died when a big truck overturned
unexpectedly and crashed right into his car as he was driving on the highway. By
the time of the accident, two other main people in charge of persecuting Falun
Gong in Xiangcheng City had been dismissed from their jobs. The former mayor
Meng Weizhong was also killed in a traffic accident. Police officer Ge destroys police vehicle and loses the ability to speak Police officer Ge was a driver at the Doumen Village Police Station in
Huaiyang County, Henan Province. He used to drive around and arrest Falun Dafa
practitioners. One day, he shocked a lot of people by arresting Falun Dafa practitioner Yang
Dezhi, who was disabled and suffering from general paralysis. He refused to
listen or to believe the compassionate advice of Falun Dafa practitioners, who
told him not to treat Falun Dafa unfairly. In the beginning of August 2004, he was badly injured when he collided with a
cement pillar in his police vehicle. The vehicle was totaled and he bit through
his own tongue during the impact, making it highly possible that he will never
recover normal speech.
