Sweden: Practitioners Participate in Gothenburg's "Night of Culture" (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Every autumn, many big cities in Sweden hold a series of activities known as "Night of Culture." On the evening of October the 15th, Gothenburg launched its fourteenth "Night of Culture" celebration. Over a hundred social organizations, including cultural and art groups, along with human rights organizations, helped with the preparations for this year's activity. They also presented rich and colorful performances including drama, singing, dancing, film and workshops for the local people. Swedish Friends of Falun Gong were one of the performing groups.

In the hustle and bustle of the city center, Falun Gong practitioners gave a beautiful performance of "The Wonderful Heart' in Gotaplatsen Plaza. They used singing, dancing, photographs and a demonstration of the five sets of Falun Gong exercises to show people the beauty and peacefulness of Falun Dafa, as well as traditional Chinese culture, and at the same time they exposed the persecution in China.

Many people found the practitioners' performance very appealing. Some of them stopped to watch, while others came up to talk to us to find out more. The atmosphere was one of compassion and peace.

Many people enjoyed the beautiful performances and the Chinese music, and they got the chance to learn the facts about Falun Dafa. A local TV station reported on the exercise demonstration in its evening news program.
