By a Dafa practitioner in Hubei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Jiju in Macheng City, Hubei Province was tortured to death by police on May 20, 2002. Listed below is her son Zhu Li's current status.

Zhu Li is 15 years old and his nickname is Yang Yang. His mother was tortured to death and his father is often out of town for work reasons, so he transferred from his school in Macheng City to Baiguo Town Middle School to live with grandparents. Because his grandparents were in poor health, his father and stepmother took him to Qingdao City, Shandong Province in the summer of 2004. He is currently attending school in Qingdao City.

Zhu Li's mother Li Jiju was 37 years old when she died. She had lived in Xifan Village, under the Longchi Administrative Office, Macheng City. At noon on May 15, 2002, about a dozen police officers from Macheng City climbed into Li Jiju's yard and ransacked her home. They beat Li Jiju because she challenged their illegal behavior. They then dragged Li Jiju to Macheng City Detention Center, where Li Jiju demanded to be unconditionally released. She held a hunger strike to protest the persecution. On May 20, Li Shengguo, the secretary of Macheng City's Disciplinary Committee, Huang Shaokui, deputy head of the city police department, Yang Gandun, head of Division One and Yan Wenshan and other perpetrators secretly took Li Jiju to the Longchi Police Station and interrogated her. She was tortured to death during the interrogation.
