The Children of a Practitioner Who Was Tortured to Death

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Song Huaping from Yingcheng City, Hubei Province was tortured to death on July 31, 2002. Following is a description of his family's current situation.

Mr. Song's first son, Song Chenghong, is a college student. In order to support their family, Song Huaping's wife Cheng Aiying has to work as a tricycle driver.

Mr. Song Huaping's second son, Song Chenglong, had to quit school to work, in order to help support his brother in college.

Mr. Song Huaping has been detained six times for practicing Falun Gong. The last time he was detained in the Yingcheng City No.1 Detention Center. He was tortured until he was close to death, and was sent home because the center was afraid to take responsibility for his death. One month later, Mr. Song Huaping died at home on July 31, 2002, at the age of 43.

Mr. Song Huaping's father is 76, his mother is 75, and they are living in Songjiawan Village, Panji Township, Yangling Town, Yingcheng City, Hubei Province, which is near Tuanshangao Mine. When she found out her son had been tortured to death, Mr. Song's mother cried until she couldn't see. They tend a one-acre field to make their living.
