Louisiana, Missouri: Practitioners Warmly Received at "Colorful Festival" Parade (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners in St. Louis were invited to participate in the "Colorful Festival" parade on October 16, 2004 in Louisiana, Missouri, and were warmly received by enthusiastic spectators. Last year, when they first participated in this festival, practitioners won an award. This time, in order to let more people learn about Falun Dafa, practitioners came again to the small city with great enthusiasm, despite low temperatures in the late autumn morning.

During the parade, the Falun Gong practitioners' contingent was warmly welcomed by the audience. The procession included a graceful Fan Dance, a beautifully decorated float with an exercise demonstration on the float, and some practitioners handing out Falun Dafa news briefings and flyers. The procession moved on accompanied by the music "Pudu." The spectators' applause and cheers could be heard all along the way. A practitioner's husband drove the car for us, and three of her grandchildren also handed out flyers with us. After the parade, they were so happy for having done so.
