(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioners in Vancouver held another anti-torture exhibition in downtown on October 24, 2004 to expose the Jiang faction's brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. "Is it true?" was the question people asked most. They could not understand why the large-scale, cruel persecution is still going on and why it is targeting people are practitioners following Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance.

Demonstration of torture methods used in China to persecute Falun Gong practitioners

During the five-hour anti-torture exhibition, the practitioners kept up a good performance. The actors made sure to show the brutal persecution of practitioners in China. The practitioners in charge of make-up did an excellent job on the ones acting as the victims.

A lady from Italy said that she thought such persecution and violations of human rights only occurred in Africa. She thanked the practitioners for exposing the truth to her.

"Why are the practitioners persecuted?" This was another frequently asked question. A young man asked while pointing at a photo on a flyer showing the meditation exercise, "Just for practicing this?"

Practitioners talked about Falun Gong and the persecution of practitioners in China. One practitioner said, "In truth-clarification I found that many people did not know about Falun Gong. They often asked, 'What is Falun Gong?' It looks there is still a long way to go in our truth-clarification."

In addition to holding anti-torture exhibitions from time to time, practitioners in Vancouver also clarify the truth in downtown. Groups of two or three practitioners distribute flyers, conduct exercise demonstrations and hold up anti-torture poster boards in downtown. The effect has been very good.
