Practitioners in Sichuan Province Successfully Hold Experience Sharing Conference

(Clearwisdom.net) In mid-September, after studying Teacher's new article "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People," practitioners in Sichuan Province successfully held an experience sharing conference in the home of a practitioner living in the countryside. Almost 40 practitioners attended the conference. With regards to security, practitioners applied rational methods -- for example, the notice was spread only by word of mouth, and during the conference, some practitioners stayed at the entrance of the village to keep watch.

The practitioners who coordinated the conference made very careful preparations. To focus on the topic of "Let Go of Human Attachments," they prepared articles about attachment to competition, showing off, jealousy and lust. They looked up Master's lectures on these topics and arranged for practitioners to read them. Practitioners then shared their own cultivation experiences in the recent time period, focusing on the three things that Master requires us to do well (1). Each cultivation experience reflected the practitioners' righteous thoughts and righteous actions, and they were all very inspiring.

In terms of finding omissions, problems that remained in sending forth righteous thoughts were pointed out. Some practitioners said that sending forth righteous thoughts was to invoke the divine power of the Buddha Fa, and it should be used whenever necessary. Hence the phenomena of getting tired, having impure thoughts, feeling painful or uncomfortable, and having incorrect hand gestures were all interference that we Dafa practitioners should not acknowledge. When such problems arise, they may have two causes: one may be that we do not grasp well the key elements of sending forth righteous thoughts; the other obstacle could be that we still have problems in studying the Fa and improving ourselves, that is, we still have many attachments. When one's character has not been improved, the energy potency is hindered. Therefore, the effect of sending forth righteous thoughts is not achieved.

This experience-sharing conference inspired practitioners to cultivate more diligently and to step up the pace of truth-clarification and saving sentient beings.

(1) The three things that Master Li has asked practitioners to do are to study the Fa (the Law and principles, the teachings of Falun Dafa), send forth righteous thoughts, and to clarify the facts of Falun Dafa and the persecution to all people.
