New York State Assembly Member: "I Write to Condemn the Vicious Acts of Violence Perpetrated Against the Practitioners of Falun Gong."

Nick Perry wrote to the Falun Dafa Buddha Association in Easter USA to condemn the vicious acts of violence perpetrated against the practitioners of Falun Gong in China. The following is the text of the letter from Assembly Member N. Nick Perry.

Dear Practitioners:

I write to condemn the vicious acts of violence perpetrated against the practitioners of Falun Gong. The rights of people to practice their beliefs, within the confines of the law, must be respected worldwide, and such acts of intimidation by others who refuse to respect the human rights to freedom of expression must be strongly repudiated.

The dignity of mankind can be maintained, despite our varying opinion and beliefs, when we learn to tolerate and appreciate different views.

I extend my sincerest sympathy to the victims of this crime and to their families as they try to come to groups with these senseless acts of aggression against freedom.
