(Clearwisdom.net) More than 2,000 lawyers from around the world gathered
in Auckland, New Zealand on October 23, 2004 to attend an annual conference.
This is a major event for the international law circle, and includes discussions
of topics including the economy, human rights, and other topics throughout the
conference. Falun Gong practitioners from Australia and New Zealand took this
opportunity to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to lawyers attending the
conference.

On the morning of October 23, the sky was covered with heavy dark clouds. But
even the heavy rain couldn't prevent practitioners from peacefully appealing in
front of the Chinese Embassy.

An exhibit with photos and live actors in makeup displaying the tortures
suffered by Falun Gong practitioners in China appeared on the streets of
Auckland. Practitioners handed out truth clarification materials, collected
signatures, demonstrated the exercises, and explained the facts about Falun
Gong. Many lawyers attending the conference were attracted to the exhibit, and
many passersby stopped to watch and learn the facts about Falun Gong. Some local
people immediately wanted to learn the five sets of the exercises and asked for
information about practice sites. One university student who majored in mass
media learned in detail about Falun Gong and took the initiative to write a
report to the newspaper, and decided to take the story of Falun Gong as the
theme for her thesis this year.
