(Clearwisdom.net) On September 19, Sydney practitioners participated in the Spring Festival of Marrickville. Because of the excellent performance of practitioners in the past, the Marrickville city government extended an invitation to us to participate in this event again. The city government told us that we could perform anything we chose and didn't have to report to them for prior approval.

So, we brought the local residents a Tang Dynasty costume show, traditional Tang Dynasty dances, a guitar and violin ensemble, and singing. Young practitioners also performed the "Star Dance." Two practitioners unfolded a large banner with the words, "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" on the stage, serving as a backdrop. Our relaxing, harmonious music and performance made a sharp contrast with the clamor around us and attracted people's attention. At the same time, some practitioners distributed materials and collected signatures in support of Falun Gong. During breaks in our cultural performance, practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and gave a brief introduction to Falun Dafa using a microphone.

After reading our materials, some people returned the materials and said that they had read the information and hoped we would re-use the materials and give them to those who hadn't learned the truth yet. They also sincerely wished us good luck. We met a businessman who had been commuting between China and Australia. At the beginning, he wasn't interested in Dafa. However, he was very unsatisfied with many social phenomena and was talking continuously about those things to a practitioner. In the end, he politely said, "I apologize, I may have talked too much, please give me a flier and I will read it later."
