Switzerland: Anti-Torture Exhibition in Basel Exposes the Brutal Persecution of Falun Gong in China (Photos)

To expose the Jiang regime's crime of persecuting Dafa practitioners and to let more people know what's happening in China, Swiss practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition in a square in the center of the famous industrial city of Basel on September 18. They distributed leaflets and Video-CDs, and answered people's questions.

It was a sunny day and there were a lot of tourists. The practitioners explained the persecution through loudspeakers. Many locals and tourists came to the exhibition. They concentrated on listening to the explanations, looked at the exhibition and read the display boards about the persecution.

When people heard that Falun Gong practitioners were cruelly persecuted by the Jiang regime in China and more than one thousand practitioners have been persecuted to death since July 1999 simply because they wanted to follow the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and to be good people, they were shocked. They could not believe that such things happen in China in the 21st century. They exclaimed, "It is too cruel! It is so unbelievable!" People felt sad and angry. They all asked for leaflets and VCDs. Many people signed their names to support Falun Gong. Some said, "You are doing a great job! Where are your exercise sites? I want to learn Falun Gong." Some asked, "Where can I buy Zhuan Falun? Falun Gong is really good. You will be able to freely practice eventually."

After the activity ended, practitioners went to a restaurant for dinner. One school teacher waited there for the practitioners because he saw their cars were still parked in the square. He said, "I have finished reading the materials of Falun Gong. Falun Gong is good. I want to get some more newspapers for my colleagues so that they can all know that Falun Gong is good."
