Falun Dafa Practitioner Ma Xuejun Suffers Brutal Torture in the Jiamusi City Police Department and Dongfeng Branch

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ma Xuejun of Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province has been determined in practicing Falun Dafa. Since July 1999, he has been illegally detained for his practice many times and forced to leave his home. In December 2002, he was abducted again. After being brutally tortured in the Jiamusi Police Department, he was detained in the Jiamusi City Detention Center. He was tortured there and became emaciated, looking as if he would die. The lawless officials were afraid of taking the responsibility and sent Ma Xuejun home on the night of December 26, 2003.

On December 12, 2002, when practitioner Ma Xuejun was moving out of his apartment, the police from the Railroad Branch of the Jiamusi City Police Department abducted him. Later, he was transferred to the Jiamusi City Police Department. To interrogate Ma and try to obtain the materials and evidence that Jiamusi City Police Department and Dongfeng Branch wanted, three shifts of police were on duty 24 hours a day. There were four to six police on each shift who tortured practitioner Ma Xuejun constantly for two days straight.

1. He was forbidden from sleeping. Regardless of whether he was standing or sitting, as long as he closed his eyes, the police would stomp on his toes, causing the nails of his toes on both feet to become black.
2. They hung him up by his hands, which were handcuffed behind his back. At the same time there were fetters on his feet. They would do this to him for half an hour each time, at which time he would usually pass out. To prevent him from resisting, the police stepped on the fetters. After they straightened out practitioner Ma's body, they wrapped his head with clothes and carried out the following abuse: (1) kicking his legs with their hard leather shoes (2) jabbing his ribs with their hands (3) bending his fingers backwards (4) punching his chest (5) shaking his hands, which were handcuffed, every five minutes or so. The police said they did this so that his hands would not be disabled. In fact, every shake caused great pain to his hands, which were already numb.

   This torture was the most severe one. One time, when he woke up, he heard the police talking about him. One said, "This one is really tough, normal criminals would have talked by now."

3. They jabbed a chair into his back. Three or four police lifted Ma and jabbed the back of a chair into his back while holding his legs and shoulders.

The police originally wanted to torture Mr. Ma for seven days straight. However, after two days, he had been tortured nearly to death. He could not stand, as the lower half of his body was paralyzed. The ring finger of his right hand was disabled. Since they were afraid that the detention center would refuse to take him, the Deputy Chief of the Jiamusi City Police Department Li Shuqing ordered two police officers to drag Mr. Ma to the detention center without examination from the detention center doctor. The torturers included the instructor of the National Security Team of the National Security Branch in the Jiamusi City Police Department and the director of the "610 Office" Chen Wanyou.

On the night of December 2003, in order to avoid responsibility, the Jiamusi Police Department sent Ma Xujun home. At that time, he was near death and his battered body was a gruesome site. Because he suffered such long-term torture, he was seriously injured, and was emaciated and barely breathing. His legs were twisted and stiff, and could not change position.

According to incomplete statistics, at least seven practitioners have been tortured to death in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province. They are Ms. Chen Ying, Mr. Zhang Fu, Ms. Tang Hong, Ms. Zhao Fulan, Ms. Wang Shujun, Ms. Bi Jiaxin and Ms. Li Fenghua.
