Description of the Abuse Practitioner Ms. Zhang Yuhua Received in the Shijingshan District Police Department and Detention Center (photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) My name is Zhang Yuhua, and I am 50 years old. Since I started to practice Falun Dafa, both my mind and body have been purified. I was determined to follow the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance," and strive to become a person of noble character.

When the persecution of Falun Dafa began in July 1999, I went through some serious and rational thinking before I decided that Falun Dafa is good and Teacher is innocent of the lies spread against him. My conscience told me that I could not selfishly practice in the relative safety of my home; instead, I should clarify the truth to the government. However, the Appeals Office has been turned into a police department where Dafa practitioners were immediately arrested, and thus the citizens' right to appeal and their basic human rights were trampled on. I had no choice but to go to Tiananmen Square and shout out the words from the bottom of my heart, "Falun Dafa is good; Falun Dafa is a righteous cultivation way!" At that moment on Tiananmen Square, my mind was calm and peaceful.

The armed police took me to the Tiananmen Police Station; then I was transferred to the Gucheng Police Station, and finally to the Shijingshan District Detention Center. In the detention center, I went on a hunger strike to protest my illegal detention. The detention center then asked the doctors who worked for the detention center and inmates to brutally force-feed me. Five or six male inmates dragged me to a room, pushed me to the floor, and held my arms and legs down while the doctor(s) used a rubber tube to force-feed me through my nose. I vomited and almost suffocated -- it was very painful.

A police guard from the Shijingshan District Police Department beat me up in order to force me to tell my address. A guard named Li Peng (badge # 0443364) knocked me to the floor, dragged me by the hair and kicked me into a room. He also spat in my face and told me that even if they beat me to death, they would not be held responsible. He then dragged me out of the room and kicked me in the legs. My legs were immediately covered with black and purple bruises. Another guard named Wang Ning then tied me up on a "Tiger Bench," and slapped my face, causing it to swell.
