A Practitioner's Cellmates Experience the Greatness of Falun Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) At the beginning of 2003, I was illegally imprisoned simply because I practice Falun Gong. In my cell, all of the other inmates were farmers who had been detained for not paying back their loans.

A young farmer named Xiao Li slept next to me. Since his family was poor they could not pay back their 1,000-yuan debt. Consequently he was detained for three months. He was filled with the resentment because he did not have money to see a doctor, to treat an infection that had developed in one of his fingers. Whenever I clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to them as a group, he always listened in earnest. After a month passed by he quietly told me about his misfortune and at the same time expressed his respect for Falun Dafa and sympathy towards me. So I encouraged him to be a good person according to the principles of "Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance."

One morning, he awoke and excitedly told the other cellmates what had happened that night: He was quietly doing the meditation that he had learned from studying my posture for many days. Actually, he was quietly meditating behind me without me knowing it. While doing so he suddenly felt a gust of wind enter into the center of his two palms. His whole body then immediately vibrated. He was excited and a little scared. At the same time, he was also happy to tell everyone that the infection on his finger was suddenly cured without any treatment. I asked him, "What were you thinking about when doing the meditation?" He said, "I was quietly thinking that Teacher Li is good and that Falun Dafa is good!"

Tears came to my eyes. This is the result of Master's mercy, the miracle of Dafa and Xiao Li's sincerity! Word about what happened had spread to all the cells in the detention center. Before Xiao Li had left the detention center, he had learned all the five sets of movements.

In the same cell there was a man named Lao Du who was in his 50's. He had a sickness that made him vomit after eating each meal. It was very painful for him. Although he took medicine, it never stopped and it had been going on for 6 months. Inspired by Xiao Li's experience, he began to do the sitting meditation too. After about ten days, his vomiting stopped. He was so happy and told everyone, "It looks like the time spent detained here wasn't in vain, because I now have a true understanding of Falun Gong!"
