Practitioner Guo Jiasheng in Weifang City Was Illegally Sentenced to 10 Years of Imprisonment - His Aged Father Passed Away Due to Worry and Indignation

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Guo Jiasheng is a resident at the Zeer Village under the Beiyuan Street Committee in Kuiwen District in Weifang City, Shandong Province. He was an employee of Weifang City Plastics Factory. Because he persisted in practicing Falun Dafa, scofflaw personnel in Weifang City sentenced him to ten years of imprisonment on August 5, 2003. This is a great blow to his father, who soon after passed away as a result of worry and indignation. Below are facts of the persecution:

In June 1999, after Guo Jiasheng went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa, he suffered serious mistreatment by authorities in Weifang City who completely ignored the law, including several illegal detentions by his work unit. In 2001, with righteous thoughts, Guo Jiasheng escaped from the brainwashing class that he had been kidnapped and sent to. Lawless persons came to his residence many times to arrest him but were stopped by his family members with righteous thoughts. Guo Jiasheng also lost his job as a result. On April 6, 2002, Guo Jiasheng was kidnapped at another practitioner's home. Perpetrators were the police from Weifang City Police Department. He was locked up at a brainwashing class in Weifang City School for Industrial Officials to be punished. With Master's compassionate protection, he escaped from the brainwashing class again with the power of his righteous thoughts. Thereafter, in order to avoid the persecution, he chose to leave home and wander around without stable lodging. On the night of October 28, 2002, Guo Jiasheng was once again arrested at his rented premises by Weifang City police. He was then detained in the Kuiwen District Detention Center where he suffered cruel persecution at the hands of these lawless persons. During his detention he was escorted and sent to the notorious Changle Forced Labor Camp. The evil police and collaborators [Former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture] there used torture devices to abuse him. As a result of such treatment, Guo Jiasheng had became dazed, thin and emaciated. Even his family members could not recognize him. On August 5, 2003, lawless persons in Weifang City sentenced him to ten years in prison. He was then incarcerated in Ward 11 of Jinan City Prison in Shandong Province. Under cruel abuse and torment at the hands of the evildoing police, in just three months he was in very bad condition.

Guo Jiasheng's father suffered a heavy blow when his son was illegally sentenced to prison. He missed his son every day and was often in tears. The neighbors would always see a pitiful and weathered old man standing in the streets for a long time, calling out for his son with his pet name. He would raise his head, looking far away and hope for the return of his son. Not long after, Guo Jiasheng's father passed away with longing for his son in his heart.

Here we would like to appeal to all kind-hearted people, to give a helping hand to these good people, to come together and stop the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners, and to bring all those who have participated in the persecution to justice.
