Two Stories about How Practitioner Fu Rong Boldly Clarified the Truth
(Clearwisdom.net) Fu Rong (a pseudonym) is a veteran Falun Dafa practitioner
from Mainland China. Since April 25, 1999, when the repression and persecution
of Falun Dafa began, she has been clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa
face-to-face with people. She tells people that practitioners strive to be good
people and yet they are subjected to the persecution. Fu Rong has brought other
practitioners with her to clarify the truth. The following are two of her
stories. I. Openly and Aboveboard Clarifying the Truth to the Police One of Fu Rong's fellow practitioners was released from a labor camp. The
practitioner's former husband is a policeman who was forced to divorce his wife
after the persecution of Falun Gong officially began on July 20, 1999. Because
this practitioner was forced to live on the street for a long time and was
imprisoned for over two years in a forced labor camp, she had not seen her child
for a long time. After her release, this practitioner expressed her wish to her
former husband to see their child. He flatly refused. After hearing about this
matter, Fu Rong thought that it was not only her fellow practitioner's matter.
Fu Rong thought she must help her to gain her legal right as a parent to see her
child. She suggested that the fellow practitioner speak to her former husband's
work unit in order for them to intervene on her behalf. After the fellow
practitioner agreed, Fu Rong went with her to the police station. The fellow practitioner told the policeman in the reception area of her
intention. After he realized that she was a Falun Gong practitioner, he became
biased and began to discriminate against her. Fu Rong immediately questioned the
policeman: "Which article of the law says that Falun Gong practitioners cannot
have a family? Which article says a husband should divorce his wife if she
practices Falun Gong? Your fellow policeman divorced his wife due to pressure
from your superior, or else from the involvement of a third person. This is
sabotaging people's marriage and it is against the marriage law!" The policeman
immediately softened his tone fearing that further argument would expose the
fact that their director pressured a police colleague to divorce his wife. At that time, the policeman was called away by another officer of a higher
rank. When he came back, the policeman's attitude became harsh again. He took
out a pen and paper and questioned Fu Rong, "What is your name? What is your
telephone number? Were you both together in the labor camp?" He acted as if he
was conducting a trial. Fu Rong immediately realized that the policeman's superior did not want to
concede to the practitioners. They wanted to threaten the practitioners hoping
that they would back off. Fu Rong told the policeman openly and aboveboard, "My
name is Fu Rong. My phone number is ......." Fu Rong realized that the policeman
wanted to arrest those Falun Gong practitioners who went to the police station
themselves so that he could be "rewarded." Realizing the intention of the
policeman, she continued, "We did not go to the labor camp together. I was sent
there earlier and I was a more important target. The police station and police
bureau of my district knew about me. The policemen there treated me very nicely,
even the leader of the city knew about me. The municipal party secretary has
been asking me to write articles reflecting the wrongful treatment of Falun
Gong." The policeman realized that she had openly conducted herself as a Falun
Gong practitioner, and it was no use to report her. At that moment, a female police officer in the same office began to back down
from her formerly aggressive stance. She started to talk about the lies
attacking Falun Gong on TV. Fu Rong took advantage of the opportunity to clarify
the truth to them. The fellow practitioner also cooperated with her. Building
upon the sympathy of the policewoman, Fu Rong told her that a Falun Gong
practitioner in her district was stripped of all her clothes and thrown into a
male prison cell. The male inmates took turns raping her. After learning this
story, the policewoman was outraged and said loudly, "What kind of police are
they? They are a pestilence!" Her attitude changed greatly and she began to
sympathize with Falun Gong. Having seen the effect of the practitioners' visit, the policeman in the
reception area wanted to end the discussion as soon as possible and immediately
said, "All right, do you want to see your child? I have to go to a meeting right
now. We will solve the problem for you so you can see your child." II. Encouraging a Fellow Practitioner to Clarify the Truth and to Ask that
What is Rightfully Hers be Returned Another fellow practitioner of Fu Rong's openly and in an aboveboard manner
went back to the labor camp where he had been confined for a long period and
where he had suffered through various brutal tortures. Right after the
practitioner was released, another practitioner told her that the situation in
her house was perilous due to the persecution. Fu Rong's situation was not good
either, as the police often monitored Fu Rong. They warned this practitioner to
never try and meet with Fu Rong. The practitioner was afraid to go home and also
always tried to avoid seeing Fu Rong. After a tremendous effort, Fu Rong found this practitioner. After speaking
with Fu Rong, the fellow practitioner learned that Fu Rong had always upheld her
righteous thoughts and actions in dealing with the police. Fu Rong used her
wisdom and took the opportunities to clarify the truth to the police, which had
created an environment benefiting others around her. Thus, the fellow
practitioner realized what she should do and she returned to her home with Fu
Rong. The fellow practitioner's husband had some doubts about Falun Dafa because
his wife had not returned home due to fear. Now, he felt grateful to Fu Rong for
finding his wife and bringing her home. He asked Fu Rong, "Can she can stay
home?" Fu Rong said, "Yes! You must help her if the police come to harass her."
He said, "Of course! The police have arrested her, and tortured her. What else
do they want? If they come again, I will fight with them endlessly!" Fu Rong
said, "If you are worried for her, you can let her stay in my house for a few
days." The husband said, "Thank you very much." Because the fellow practitioner has lost her job because of her practice of
Falun Gong, she was in need of money upon her return. Her brother had sold her
parents' house without giving her her share. She spoke to her brother about the
financial crisis she was facing now. She never thought her brother would refuse
her request. When the fellow practitioner met Fu Rong, she said very angrily,
"How come I have this kind of a brother? When he was in difficulty, I helped him
unconditionally. Now I am in trouble, and he even refuses to give my part of our
parents' home." Fu Rong said, "Don't be angry! Clarify the truth to them, tell
them about all the tortures you have suffered in the labor camp. When they know
the truth, they will sympathize with you and give you your money." The fellow practitioner went to see her brother and sister-in-law. She told
them that she had been shocked with electric batons that left her body covered
with injuries. She was tied with ropes, her joints were dislocated and her
muscles had been torn. She told them that she had been handcuffed and mistreated
in many ways. After learning about the tortures she had been subjected to in the
labor camp, her sister-in-law was full of tears. She said, "I could never
imagine that my sister-in-law had been suffering so much. I could owe anybody
money but not her." A good friend of her sister-in-law is the wife of the director of a railway
police station. Her sister-in-law told her friend the experience that the fellow
practitioner had suffered in the labor camp and asked her friend, "How could the
police do such immoral deeds?" The wife of the police director said, "My god! I
wouldn't believe it had it not been the suffering of our friend. How could they
call themselves policemen?"
