(Clearwisdom.net) On October 5, 2004, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Gao Rongrong, whose face was disfigured by the authorities of Longshan Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City, escaped from her persecutors.

She escaped from Room 0533, Division Two in the Orthopedics Department at the No. 1 Hospital affiliated with the China Medical University, where she had been held for nearly five months after she was disfigured.

On August 18, 2004, Clearwisdom Net published a report stating that Gao Rongrong was on the brink of death. She urinated blood and could not eat or drink. After suffering for over three months, Gao Rongrong was skin and bones. She could not close her eyes because her eye sockets had caved in and her synovial fluid had dried up. She was severely disfigured and she looked like a different person from the one before the torture. The doctor said she could die at any time and repeatedly issued notices saying Gao Rongrong was near death. Nevertheless, the Shenyang City Judicial Bureau, under whose jurisdiction the Longshan Forced Labor Camp operates, refused to release her, claiming that the doctors should try to revive her if she was in critical condition, and she was not to be released even if she died.

During the past five months, Gao Rongrong was monitored in Room 0533. The police from the labor camp didn't allow her to make phone calls and intercepted all of her mail. People who wanted to visit her had to obtain prior approval from the head of the Shenyang City Judicial Bureau. No outgoing phone calls were allowed from Room 0533. The perpetrators inspected everything Gao Rongrong's family brought for her.

Two days before the National Holiday on October 1, the head doctor told the guards from the Longshan Forced Labor Camp that Gao Rongrong had begun to eat and no longer needed intravenous infusions, and that she could be transferred to the Shenyang Police Hospital if she had no need for surgery.

Before they could send her back to the police hospital, Gao Rongrong successfully escaped from the imprisonment set up by the police at No. 1 Hospital.

Gao Rongrong can sit up for a while by herself now. She is still very thin and weak and cannot move her left leg. She is in good spirits and clear-minded. She said she would study the Fa and walk her path of Falun Dafa cultivation.

Since Gao Rongrong escaped from the hospital on October 5, the perpetrators in Shenyang City who want to be promoted for persecuting Falun Gong have put pressure on Gao Rongrong's parents and sister to find her.

We hereby want to solemnly warn these people, particularly Tang Chenguang, the head of the Longshan Forced Labor Camp, and Wang Jinghui, political head at Division 2 and others: the persecution of Falun Gong started by Jiang Zemin was from the beginning against the constitution of China and against human rights agreements the Chinese government has signed. Many people around the world are paying attention to Gao Rongrong's situation. If you continue to pursue Gao Rongrong and pressure her family, you will only add to your crimes and will eventually be punished by both the laws of man and the laws of heaven.
