Village Secretary Destroys Slanderous Cartoons That Littered His Office Wall
By a practitioner from Mainland China
(Clearwisdom.net) During the spring and summer of this year, cartoons and
banners vilifying Falun Gong appeared all over the countryside. My village cadre
posted similar slanderous cartoons inside his office to satisfy the Municipal
Party Committee and the "610 Office." Several of us practitioners were perplexed by this situation. What should we
do? When such materials were posted outside, we could find out ways to take them
down; posted inside, however, it was not easy to handle. We discussed various
approaches, but found our thoughts lacking. We would not reach our goal of
clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings with such an approach. We also
saw many potential dangers. We were without righteous thoughts, and therefore
lacked righteous actions, causing delay. One day a practitioner went to take a look inside the office under the
pretense of handing in an electric bill. The walls were littered with the
slanderous cartoons. The practitioner immediately sent forth righteous thoughts
to eliminate the evil in other dimensions. He clarified the truth to the village
secretary, the director, and an electrician, telling them that Dafa
practitioners have been treated unjustly and that Falun Dafa brings hundreds of
benefits and no harm to society. He also told how Falun Dafa has spread to over
60 countries. He said, since the persecution initiated by Jiang began, hundreds
of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners were illegally detained in Chinese
labor camps, prisons, and mental hospitals, and over 1,000 practitioners had
been tortured to death. He also talked about how those who persecute Falun Gong
have suffered different degrees of retribution. After listening, the village
secretary tried to make a deal with the practitioner, saying, "We will take
down the cartoons, if, in the future, you guys stop posting Dafa materials
around town. Agree?" The practitioner answered righteously: "We post
our banners to let more and more people learn the truth. Even if I stopped,
other practitioners would continue to do it." After listening, the secretary did not say anything, and personally tore down
every single cartoon.
