(Clearwisdom.net) He came to Olbia from Switzerland to introduce Falun Gong. The twenty-nine-year-old Italian-Suisse speaks little Italian, but what he can show us here in Olbia is only an impossible dream for seventy million people in China.

Falun Gong is truly not a religion or a political movement, but an ancient Chinese meditation way. Regrettably, Falun Gong is banned in this East Asian country.

The young man explained, "I came here today to let people know that even in these modern times persecution exists. Practitioners in China are being persecuted only because they want to live by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance, the main teachings of Falun Dafa."

These simple and fundamental values represent for the former Chinese President Jiang Zemin a dire threat to his faction's existence.

For three weeks one can learn about Falun Gong in the park. This young advertising technician will be there daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. During that time, he will practice the simple exercise movements and tell the passers-by about safeguarding and maintaining human rights.

While not many people from Olbia came to watch and listen, it is enough to begin building a chain to pass on this honorable and exemplary life principle.
