Switzerland: Falun Gong Practitioners hold an Anti-Torture Exhibition in Baden (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) Swiss practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition to
expose the crimes of the Jiang regime in the City of Baden on October 20.
Similar exhibitions have already been held in Zurich, Basel, Luzern, Bern and
Solothurn. Some German practitioners also joined the activity. Many people came to the exhibition to see the reenactments of the tortures
that are being used on Chinese Falun Gong practitioners to try to force them
to give up their belief. Pictures of the persecution were also displayed
alongside the anti-torture exhibition. People found it hard to believe that
former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin would order China's policemen to carry out
such barbaric crimes against people who just want to practice their qigong
exercises in peace and live by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and
Tolerance. When some youths that had heard about the persecution met their
classmates, they told them about it. These young people immediately signed our
petition calling for an end to the suppression of Falun Gong. They said that
they would explain the situation to their friends and relatives. An elderly lady pointed to Jiang's picture and said, "He will be
punished in Hell!" When an elderly lady saw the torture demonstration and the pictures, she
shook her head and said, "It's too cruel. It's unbelievable." When
she saw a photograph of a Dafa practitioner who had been tortured until she
was emaciated, but with an enlarged belly, she asked whether pregnant women
were also tortured. Practitioners told her that her belly was swollen because
she was beaten so seriously by the police that an internal injury caused the
swelling. When the lady heard this, she said angrily, "These policemen
are sadists." Practitioners told her how the Jiang faction not only
forced Dafa practitioners to have abortions, even when they were seven or
eight months pregnant, but they even tortured an eight-month-old child to
death. The old lady said several times, "It's such an unforgivable
crime!" When she signed her name on the petition, she told Dafa
practitioners, "I know there is Heaven and Hell in the world." She
pointed at Jiang's picture and said, "He will go to Hell!" A woman who had just returned from New York came over to the exhibition and
told practitioners, "I saw Falun Gong on all the streets of New York. I
definitely believe Falun Dafa is good. It's unreasonable and unbelievable that
China (the Jiang regime) can so cruelly persecute Falun Gong practitioners. I
want to help and support Falun Gong in my own way. Please give me more VCDs
and leaflets. I want to help distribute them." Practitioners felt that
she was very sincere. They gave her some VCDs and leaflets. "Jiang and those policemen have no humanity!" A group of young people between sixteen and nineteen years old asked some
questions after watching the torture reenactment and seeing the pictures of
torture. Practitioners answered all their questions. They also patiently
explained the pictures showing more than one hundred cruel methods of
persecution. They told the young people that it was not easy to get those
pictures out of China because the Jiang regime seals China off from the
outside world. Practitioners in China have to risk their lives to send those
pictures overseas. There have been 1,089 practitioners persecuted to death but
these are only the documented death cases. According to some sources, the
number of practitioners who have been persecuted to death has exceeded three
thousand. One young person said, "We knew that there are no human rights
in China and that Falun Gong is being persecuted, but we did not know it was
so cruel!" "Jiang and those policemen have no humanity!" Other
people said, "They are worse than beasts." "The World Needs Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." We held an activity in the city of Baden last year. One Dafa practitioner
made banners reading, "The World Needs Truthfulness, Compassion,
Forbearance," "Life Needs Truthfulness, Compassion,
Forbearance," and "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" in
Chinese for people. This year, one young woman said happily, "I have the
banner, 'The World Needs Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance' and have
already hung it on the wall in my home. A Falun Gong practitioner made it for
me last year." The young woman even explained what "Truthfulness,
Compassion, Forbearance" is to a group of young people. The young people
nodded in agreement and said, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is
good!"
