Korea: Anti-Torture Exhibition in Anyang Moves Local Residents (Photos) By a Falun Gong practitioner from Anyang Korea
(Clearwisdom.net) Anyong is a satellite city south of Seoul, with a
population of over 600,000. From October 30 to November 5, 2004, the art
exhibition "Uncompromising Courage" was held here. The art exhibition
gave the Falun Gong practitioners of the south Gyeonggi area a good chance to
clarify the truth and promote Dafa. Citizens are shocked and angered at the Jiang regime's cruel
persecution of Falun Gong On the afternoon of November 7, the Falun Gong practitioners held an
Anti-torture Exhibition at Anyang Railway Station Plaza. The torture
re-enactment and large pictures of the torture exposed the cruel nature of the
Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong. The event was held in an area of many
large department stores and cinemas, and it was held on a weekend, so many
people saw the exhibition. The torture re-enactment actors were local Falun Gong practitioners. The
devices and equipment were provided by the Suwon-si Falun Dafa Assistance
Center. Although the actors didn't have many rehearsals, their heartfelt
compassion for the Chinese Mainland practitioners calmed them down, and their
excellent re-enactments moved the audience. The visitors watched the exhibition for a long time and expressed their anger
at the Jiang regime's cruel tortures. At first, people were shocked to see the
pictures illustrating the tortures, and the torture re-enactment. But after
listening to the introduction, "Why does Jiang Zemin want to persecute
Falun Gong?" many people understood the truth about the persecution and
began to ask for truth-clarification materials and information on learning Falun
Gong. The Torture Re-enactment exposed the facts of the persecution to let more
people recognize the deceitful lies from Jiang's regime. The practitioners also
had a group exercise practice prior to the exhibition to show the beauty of
Falun Dafa to the people. Along with Anti-Torture exhibition, the signature
drive to rescue illegally imprisoned practitioner Gao Chengnu was going on at
the same time. Many people eagerly signed their names. A few thousand leaflets
prepared for the exhibition were distributed quickly. The Falun Gong
practitioners said they would organize similar events over the coming weekends.
