(Clearwisdom.net) Over the past five years, the Clearwisdom website has played a significant role in assisting Falun Gong practitioners worldwide to progress as a whole and to keep up with Teacher's Fa-rectification process. (The Minghui website is the Chinese language version of Clearwisdom.) Teacher said,

"It is not that Minghui Net does not make mistakes, however, on important matters, practitioners must pay attention to the attitude of Minghui Net. The purpose of posting my photo and the article 'The Knowing Heart' on Minghui Net was to build a trustworthy website for practitioners." ("A Second Authentic New Article of Master Li Since July 22, 1999 Will Be Published in a Few Days")

Although Clearwisdom was established by practitioners, from Teacher's lectures and Clearwisdom's achievements over the years, it is my understanding that the existence of this website was the result of Teacher's painstaking arrangement. It functions to bring Teacher and practitioners together during the Fa-rectification period by promptly relaying Teacher's lectures to practitioners. Clearwisdom also provides practitioners worldwide with a platform to share understandings, and thus makes up for the temporary loss of the group Fa study environment and sharing in mainland China. Clearwisdom is a reliable website which continuously motivates practitioners in validating the Fa and saving sentient beings; therefore, we all have the responsibility to protect it.

Editorials posted on Clearwisdom are not merely the personal understandings of practitioners working in the editorial section. I think each notice is of great importance because it delivers Teacher's ideas to practitioners. For instance, it points out our problems and informs us on the things that need to be done in cultivation. In other words, the editorials are cornerstones marking our progress in the Fa-rectification. Our attitude toward Clearwisdom editorials directly reflects whether we are able to keep up with Teacher's Fa-rectification progress. Therefore, each of us Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples must treat Clearwisdom editorials seriously. This is also being responsible to the Fa, to sentient beings and to ourselves.

I believe that the editorial section of Clearwisdom has taken the role that the Falun Dafa Research Society played before July 20, 1999, except now the responsibility is greater and broader.

"All decisions by the Research Society have been pre-approved by me, meaning, no matter where I was, any decision they made was made only after contacting me by phone or fax. Another thing is, as I've also told them, this is also a test of the Research Society itself to see how well they lead others when I'm not around--this is also a test for them. But I don't think there will be a problem, because people who've stayed by my side for a long time know fairly well how I do things, what I want to do, and the overall things that we want to do to popularize the Fa. So I'm hereby making this clear: in the event that I'm not around, our assistance centers throughout the country should abide by and carry out the decisions made by the Research Society. It's even more the case for an assistant that he should fulfill this responsibility." (Explaining the Content of Falun Dafa)

To this day, practitioners in China are still being persecuted for their belief. Although there are no longer practice sites or assistants in China, each one of us should pick up the responsibility of an assistant, for we are particles in Dafa and have the duty to uphold the Fa. Only with steadfast belief in Teacher can we truly protect Dafa and accomplish our tasks. What is steadfast belief? My understanding is that this state can only be reached through unconditional adherence to Teacher's words regardless of our own understandings. Teacher's Fa is boundless and profound, encompassing various levels. Actually, in the process of following Teacher's words, we will continue to enlighten to the Fa at various levels and assimilate to the Fa until Consummation.

There is the issue of enlightenment throughout the course of cultivation. Nowadays, Teacher's lectures have become very clear, yet the question of belief still exists. Some practitioners appear to accept and believe Teacher's lectures readily but do not treat articles or announcements on Clearwisdom seriously. This creates many obstacles in one's cultivation. Their understandings on the Fa are thus limited and many opportunities of validating the Fa are lost. For instance, many practitioners have been validating the Fa in Beijing since the persecution began and Teacher has commented on this issue clearly in "Serious Teachings." Since it was released in the name of Clearwisdom editors, many practitioners doubted its credibility. This is not taking the Fa as teacher but is using human mentalities to blindly negate things that don't conform to our notions. Therefore, many precious opportunities were lost in the past years.

Moreover, exposing the head of evil, revealing the evil deeds of the local police to the local people, and bringing the perpetrators to trial are things each practitioner should do in the course of Fa validation. This persecution has not just affected us on an individual basis but is directly targeting the Fa. Therefore, we all have the responsibility to uphold and validate the Fa. Actually, Teacher has already addressed these points in his past lectures. Yet we were unable to put it into action due to our limited understandings.

From Teacher's lectures we understand that as Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples, everything we do carries great significance, for it has direct connection to the Fa and our xinxing [mind or heart nature, moral character] level.

Through the form of Clearwisdom editorials, our benevolent Teacher has arranged many opportunities for us to establish our mighty virtue. We should take them seriously and cherish these precious opportunities. Time is running short and we must grasp each and every second to accomplish our tasks well.
