Taiwan: A Group of Bank Inspectors Learns Falun Gong (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) From November 1 to 4, 2004, about 50 inspectors of Taiwan's Medium and Small Bank Inspection Office came to the dining hall to learn Falun Gong. What motivated them to learn Falun Gong after a long day's work? It was because they saw the beneficial changes in the chief inspector after he began practicing Falun Gong.

Chief Inspector Mr. Wang started to practice Dafa in February this year. Before practicing, his health condition was poor, including anxiety, insomnia, allergies and lower back pain. He needed three massages per week, which cost him a lot of money. Under the recommendation of Dr. Hu Naiwen, Mr. Wang participated in the 9-day Dafa seminar. Later he joined group study of Dafa books and practicing the exercises. His health improved considerably. His lower back pain and allergies have disappeared. His insomnia, which he'd suffered for years, was gone. Before practicing, he would put a hand on his lower back when he spoke. Now he stands upright and has a strong spirit. Dr. Hu said jokingly, "Now I meet Mr. Wang in group study. I have lost a patient."

In the past, as inspectors checked for wrongdoing, they were considered to be the most unwelcome. After learning Dafa, the Chief inspector found that he seldom lost his temper and thinks about others when discussing with colleagues about checking for wrongdoing. His suggestions are pleasant and easily accepted. He now thinks about how to help his associates to incorporate the principles of Falun Dafa's "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" in their daily work.

Mr. Wang's driver observed that the chief inspector participated in two group studies every week, however busy he was. He was very attentive in his practice of Falun Gong. The driver was so moved that he participated in 9-day learning session himself. After the third day, he did not enjoy smoking anymore and realized that it was a good opportunity to quit. After the 9-day session, he went for a pre-scheduled physical examination. He and his doctor were surprised at the results - all of the indicators except blood pressure had become normal.

The inspectors' health had been spotty due to intense work pressure and traveling around to do inspections. Seeing Mr. Wang and his driver's positive changes, the inspectors were interested in Falun Gong and wanted to know more. During the four days in which all the inspectors returned to headquarters, Mr. Wang contacted practitioners to teach them Falun Gong. More than 40 inspectors learned the practice after work. People in other departments heard of the beneficial change and also requested a workshop.

Though the class time was short, everyone benefited a lot. Some colleagues said that they had a sound sleep or good appetite. Some said they felt relaxed in their entire body and were in good spirits.

The chief inspector told me two days later that he was glad so many colleagues had a good response. They planned to come early in the morning to practice together and buy books.
