More Family Members of Falun Gong Practitioners Sign the Complaint Letter Requesting to Bring Hunan Province's Chishan Prison Guards to Justice

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, 241 family members of Falun Gong practitioners submitted a complaint letter to the National People's Congress, Supreme People's Procuratorate, Ministry of Justice, Hunan Province Supreme Procuratorate, Hunan Province Judicial Bureau, and various procuratorates and judicial bureaus at different levels in Hunan Province. In this letter, they exposed the crimes committed by 41 prison guards at Chishan Prison in Hunan Province, and described how these 41 guards, led by deputy prison head Zi Wei, persecuted their loved ones using various methods of torture. These 241 family members strongly requested the involved guards be punished by law.

Minghui.org reported this news and published the complaint letter on November 8, 2004. After seeing the news, more family members of Falun Gong practitioners have come forward to sign their names on the complaint letter. They are Peng Yunpu, Luo Yinglan, Peng Shiqiang, Hu Xiaoping, Xiong Chunxia, Peng Tie, and Peng Zicheng.

Minghui.org later published an article that showed support for the complaint filed by the 241 family members. In this article, the author pointed out that the complaint is one way for persecuted people to voice their grievances. Family members know best how their beloved ones, who practice Falun Gong, have benefited from the practice and how they strive to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance to be good people. The family members also know very well the hardships and persecution their beloved ones have gone through during the past five years of brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. These family members have the most right to stand up to seek justice for their beloved ones using legal means.
