By a Falun Dafa practitioner from Panjin City, Liaoning Province

(Clearwisdom.net) There is a young man who is 19 years old and lives in Panjin City, Liaoning Province. He does not practice Falun Dafa, but knows the goodness of Falun Dafa and enthusiastically protects and promotes Dafa's reputation.

On December 16, 2000 when he was only 15 years old, this young man went to Tiananmen Square in Beijing with his parents, who are practitioners, to validate the Fa (1). There, he raised a banner high in the air and shouted out loud from the bottom of his heart, "Falun Dafa is good!" The policemen heard him and quickly ran to where he was. With the banner still raised in the air, the young man ran as fast as he could to avoid being caught by the police. He finally fell to the ground after he was kicked by an officer. Then, the policemen continuously kicked him with all their might. After that, he was taken to the police station in Beijing and illegally interrogated by the police all night. Later, both he and his mother were detained in the Panshan County Detention Center.

The policemen at the detention center asked him, "Do you practice Falun Dafa--" He replied, "I do not practice Falun Dafa but I know Falun Dafa is good. I also want to let other people know that Falun Dafa is good." The boy was then illegally detained for fifteen days before being released. When he was about to leave the detention center, he told his mother earnestly, "Mother, do not think of me or you won't be able to persevere."

Four years have passed since his experience in Beijing. At 10:30 p.m. on January 24, 2004, while riding his bike on Petroleum Street, he was hit by a car. The impact of the crash caused the young man to fly over the car and hit the ground, where he rolled down the street for about four or five meters before coming to a stop. He was not scared when that happened. He was clear-headed at that time, even though he could not stand up immediately. A kind, older man came over to check on the condition of his injuries. While the young man opened his eyes, the old man asked, "Hello young man, are you hurt--" He replied, "I am fine." After a while, he slowly sat up and examined his whole body for any possible injuries. His extremities were a bit sore and there were only a few bruises on his legs and hands. His bike, however, had completely broken into two pieces and the car that hit him had taken off.

His boss heard him talk about his accident and sighed, "Your parents have accumulated a lot of virtue!" Although, the young man does not practice Falun Dafa, he works hard and is a good person. He also tells others that Falun Dafa is good.
