Germany: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution in the Town of Cham (Photo)


(Clearwisdom.net) On October 23 and 24, the 2004 "Earth Day" activities were organized in Cham Town Hall. Local practitioners took part in this activity by setting up an information booth where they demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and distributed information to people about the campaign of genocide being waged against Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Local newspapers have reported extensively on the recent release of German practitioner Xiong Wei, who was imprisoned for 2 years because she distributed leaflets exposing the human rights abuses while she was in Beijing. The local media also reported on the signature petition collection in support of bringing Jiang Zemin to justice in a court of law for his crimes of genocide, torture and crimes against humanity in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in Mainland China.

A reporter took a picture of Falun Gong's information booth during the exercise demonstrations. On November 25, 2003, this picture was shown in the newspaper, Bayerwald-Echo.
