Conference, Dafa practitioners organised a series of activities. A Peaceful Appeal at the Chinese Embassy in Paris On Friday October the 29th 2004, Falun Gong practitioners
staged a peaceful appeal at the Chinese Embassy in France, calling for an end to
the persecution against Falun Gong in China and the public trial of Jiang Zemin,
Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang. Jiang, Luo, Liu and Zhou are directly
responsible for the five years of slander against Falun Gong, the incarceration
of Falun Gong practitioners and the fact that more than one thousand Falun Gong
practitioners have been brutally tortured to death. Peaceful appeal in front of the Chinese Embassy in Paris Promoting Falun Dafa in the Chinese Community in Paris On the second day, Falun Gong practitioners went to the
Chinese community in Paris, introducing Falun Gong and exposing the persecution
against Falun Gong in China to the general public. There were many passers-by on the streets and a lot of
Chinese accepted leaflets. To support bringing the prime culprit Jiang Zemin to
justice on charges of crimes against humanity and genocide, a lot of people
signed the petition. Jiang's persecution against Falun Gong was in sharp
contrast to the peacefulness demonstrated by Falun Gong practitioners. Many
people were shocked in this regard. Introducing Falun Dafa in the Chinese community in Paris. Practitioners got together in the evening for group study and
experience-sharing. This conference provided a good opportunity for the
practitioners from French-speaking areas, such as France, Belgium, Switzerland,
etc. to exchange experiences, so as to do better in our truth-clarification and
activities to raise awareness about the persecution in the future. The Conference On Sunday October the 31st, the 2004 French Falun Dafa
Experience Sharing Conference was solemnly held. Many practitioners came all the
way from Switzerland and Belgium to attend the conference. This conference
focused on the importance of eliminating our attachments in this period, as we
not only should treat sentient beings with more compassion, but we also should
deal with other practitioners with more understanding and forgiveness. In
addition, Dafa practitioners also exchanged their views on how to do better the
"three things" Dafa practitioners are supposed to do. The atmosphere
of the conference was very peaceful and solemn. Promoting Falun Dafa in Human Rights Square On November the 1st, Dafa practitioners held activities and
handed out leaflets in Human Rights Square near the Eiffel Tower. Regardless of the cloudy weather, many tourists visited the
square and learned about Falun Gong, as well as information on the persecution
against Falun Gong in China. Two Chinese students studying in France passed by
our display booth. One of them, who started to practise Falun Gong in 1998,
picked up several dozen copies of French leaflets and Chinese newspapers in
order to distribute them to her friends after returning to her home in China.
She also planned to tell them the facts about Falun Gong.
