My Father Finally Learns Falun Dafa; Our Relatives Are Amazed by the Miracles of Falun Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) My father is a retiree from Shandong Weifang Coal Mine. Due to working for long periods of time in the underground mine, he contracted a serious case of silicosis. He often coughed, had chest pains and found it hard to breathe. If he caught the flu or a cold, the situation would become very serious and he could not breathe at all. My father has suffered from this illness for more than 20 years, and after many years of treatment, there was no improvement in his condition.

In 1999 when Jiang and his regime started to persecute Falun Gong, my father was afraid that I would be persecuted so he tried to stop me from practicing. His attitude was extreme and severe.

Then one day in the spring of 2002, I was visiting my parents' home when my father had another one of his attacks. I saw him kneeling on the bed in pain with his head pushed up against the pillow and his body curled up. He felt suffocated to the extent that his face even changed color. After seeing him like that I felt very sad and said to him, "Seeing you like this, I feel so sorry for you but you cannot change your life and nor can I help. But my Teacher can change your life. Why don't you practice Falun Gong!" After hearing me say this, my father immediately agreed. To see if he could improve his condition, he began to practice.

Not long after practicing, Teacher started to help him cleanse his body. My father's leg and eyelids swelled up. At first he did not know what was going on and thought he was sick. However, after I shared experiences with him, he understood that Teacher was actually helping him to cleanse his body. In the end, all the swelling disappeared within two days, as well as the silicosis. He truly felt what it was like to be living without illness. His excitement could not be expressed in words. He truly felt weightless and without illnesses. He walked faster too. When my mother went shopping with him, she could not believe that she could hardly keep up with him. After my father experienced the miracles of Falun Dafa, he remembered his previous attitude towards my practicing and expressed his deep regrets and apologies.

January 8, 2004 (Chinese Lunar Calendar) was my mother's birthday and many of our relatives and friends came to celebrate. Seeing the excellent state of my father's health, they all were very surprised. My father said to them happily, "I am practicing Falun Gong now. It is so good! My 20-year-illnesses have all disappeared."

Due to my father's previously poor health, he was very afraid of smoke. When relatives came to visit he would ask them to smoke outside the house. Yet this year, when many of our relatives were about to go out to smoke, my father stopped them and said, "This year, you don't have to go outside. My health is all better now, so I don't mind if you smoke inside anymore!"

After my relatives witnessed the huge change in my father, they were all amazed at the miracle of Falun Dafa and all expressed their wish to learn Falun Dafa in the future.
