More than ten days ago, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Su Chunxiu was arrested. Officials from Leshan City Middle District Public Security Bureau deceived her, saying that they were going to refund the fines she had paid. Instead, they sent her to Leshan City Shizhushan Jail.

Cui Xiaoping is a former volunteer Falun Gong teaching assistant of Leshan City. She has been unlawfully detained many times, but escaped with righteous thoughts. In August 2004, Cui Xiaoping went on a hunger strike for more than 20 days while suffering severe persecution. Ms. Cui's weight fell from 70 kgs to just over 30 kgs, and her entire body became black. Under the family's strong protest, the police allowed the parents to take Ms. Cui home. Afterwards, the police attempted to prosecute Cui Xiaoping several times. Their efforts were in vain when faced with fellow practitioners' righteous thoughts.

On November 3, police officers of Section One of Middle District Public Security Bureau in Leshan City deceived Ms. Cui into going to Middle District People's Court and tried to put her on trial. The police handcuffed Ms. Cui. Police Wang Aiping of Section One of Middle District Public Security Bureau claimed it was ordered by their superiors. Cui Xiaoping is now being held at Leshan City Shizhushan Detention Center.

Shizhushan Detention Center is now detaining more than 10 Falun Dafa practitioners.

Mr. Yang Binghai is around 45 years old, from Changping, Beijing. He is steadfast in practicing Falun Gong. He has appealed for justice for Falun Gong many times, but he was arrested and detained. In 2000, Mr. Yang was sent to the forced labor camp. He was released after one year, but was also dismissed from his job at Beijing Cement Factory. In order to feed his family and support his child's university expenses, Mr. Yang made a living from pedaling a pedi-cab.

While working, he continuously talked to people about the truth of Falun Gong. In 2003, the police discovered him on the street and forcibly took him to Changping Brainwashing Center. He firmly refused to cooperate with the evil and persistently clarified the truth. Later, he escaped with righteous thoughts.

On October 21 this year, Yang Binghai was arrested again by Changping District "610 Office" and National Security Bureau for speaking the truth about Falun Gong. The police officers also tricked his son into bringing them to his home, and they illegally searched the home. Mr. Yang's whereabouts are currently unknown.

His wife, Yang Xiuling, was also detained in the forced labor camp for a year because she was steadfast and appealed on behalf of Falun Gong many times. After she was released, she was also fired from her government job. She was sentenced to two and a half years forced labor in 2003 and is still being held. Their son, a university student, has been left at home alone.

Around October 27, 2004, Lanzhou City Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Ning Gang was arrested by the Lanzhou "610 Office" while on his way home. They took him to Hualinshan Detention Center, and confiscated his computer, printer and some other equipment, as well as several thousand yuan (1) in cash. The details are under investigation.

After 10 a.m. on November 2, 2004, Jilin Yushu City Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Dong Lixiang and her sister Dong Lirong were arrested on their way home. They were taken away by more than 20 policemen including Shi Hailin and Zhang Deqing from the Yushu City Public Security Bureau, and Yang Yanhong from Huachang Local Police Station. The police pushed Dong Lixiang to the ground and then dragged her into the police car. They took her to the Public Security Bureau with Dong Lirong. Then, the police searched their home. (Their home had been searched many times previously.)

Dong Lirong has since been released, but Dong Lixiang is still being held at the detention center of the Yushu City Public Security Bureau.

Officials at Hebei Handan Power Supply Bureau asked each Falun Dafa practitioner who worked there to write a statement guaranteeing that they will not practice Falun Gong. Because Jiao Yifen refused, the officials colluded with the local police and took her away a few days ago. The exact date is under investigation.

Recently, two Dafa practitioners from Handan Power Supply Bureau have been arrested for refusing to write the Guarantee Statement.

6. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Li Xiangqin and Tan Jinhua are Arrested While Clarifying the Truth

On the morning of November 7, 2004, Handan City Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Li Xiangqin and Ms. Tan Jinhua clarified the truth in Song Village of Handan County at the temple fair of the village. They were arrested by Handan County police.

Ms. Zhang Lixin is a 36 year old employee of Electrical Industries Bureau Supply Company in Jiagedaqi District, Daxinanling, Heilongjiang Province. After she gave birth in 1993, she came down with rheumatism. Her feet and legs were swollen every day and very painful. She took many different medicines, but it didn't help. After she began to practice Falun Gong in 1996, the swelling and pain gradually went away. Over a month later, it completely disappeared. She worked diligently and was highly praised by her work leader and her colleagues. After the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, Zhang Lixin talked to people who did not know the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution. She told them about the goodness of Falun Dafa and about her own experience.

On the night of July 11, 2004, Zhang Lixin went to the Kangzhuang Area to distribute truth-clarification materials. She was caught by personnel from the political protection section of Jia District Public Security Bureau. The police officers said that somebody had called 110 (the Chinese equivalent of 911) and they asked her where she got the materials. She refused to tell them, so they detained her for 15 days. On the 15^th day, the police officers suddenly announced that they would send Ms. Zhang to forced labor camp for a year. So far, she has been detained in Qiqihaer City No. 9 Women's Prison for more than 3 months. Her child is only 12 years old, and her husband is unemployed.

On the night of October 19, 2004, 72-year-old Mr. Wen Fu of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province was followed and arrested by the local policemen from Baozili in Qiaoxi District, Zhangjiakou City. He was taken to Baozili Local Police Station. Then the police accompanied him home and arrested three other practitioners at his home on the night of the 19^th, in the morning of the 20^th and on the night of the 21^st respectively. One of them escaped, but Ms. Ge Yaolan and Xiao Yan were taken to Zhangjiakou Shisanli Detention Center.

On the 22^nd, the policemen of Baozili Local Police Station arrested Ms. Tian Junhua of South Mingde Street and sent her to Shisanli Detention Center. After Ge Yaolan and Tian Junhua conducted a hunger strike for 6 days and 7 days respectively, they walked out the detention center. Xiao Yan was released 6 days later.

On the morning of November 7, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Pang Jitai was arrested without cause when he came out of Beiyuan Yinzuo Market. The police took him to Beiyuan Local Police Station, then searched his home in the afternoon and confiscated Dafa books and related property.

The next day, the local police station, community officer Gao Hong and "610 Office" staff member Shi sent Pang Jitai to the "610 Office." There has been no news of him since then.

10. [Beian City, Heilongjiang Province] Feng Guixia is Arrested for Posting Truth-Clarification Materials

Ms. Feng Guixia is a teacher at No. 1 Primary School in Zhaoguang Town, Beian City, Heilongjiang Province. On October 10, 2004, she was arrested by Sun Li and Liu Xuesong of the National Security Team in Beian Agriculture and Reclamation Public Security Bureau. She is now being held at the bureau's detention center.

Feng Guixia has already suffered a heart attack due to the abuse she has received in detention. It has been reported to the Farm Bureau that the public security officers intend to sentence her to three years of forced labor.

Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Weijing is a 41-year-old government employee of Changli County Cultural Bureau. He was sentenced to four years and detained at Shijiazhuang Prison. When the term expired, he was transferred to Changli Brainwashing Center for further detention. He has been there for nearly a year now.

On October 29, 2004, the Heilongjiang Yilan County Political and Judiciary Committee, "610 Office," National Security Team and local policemen raided and harassed more than ten practitioners' homes. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and tapes from Zhushan Village, Hongkeli Township, and arrested Ms. Wang Lizhi and Ms. Guo Xiuzhi. They detained Ms. Yang Xifen and Ms. Cui Fenghong for more than two months after arresting them for producing truth-clarification materials. The County Public Security Bureau wanted to send them to the forced labor camp but was rejected. After they came back to Yilan, these two practitioners were not released and are still under detention.

Zhejiang practitioner Mr. Zhang Jianbo was sentenced to two years of forced labor because he sent out two truth-clarification VCDs. He is being detained at Shiliping Forced Labor Camp in Zhejiang Province. He once conducted a hunger strike for five months to protest the persecution. His family members appealed to the Zhejiang Province Public Security Bureau in accordance with the law, but the Public Security Bureau did not directly answer the questions on the appeal letter. Instead, they supported the original decision.

Afterwards, Mr. Zhang's family members appealed to Shaoxing City Intermediate People's Court in Zhejiang Province. The court rejected the case and refused to provide a written verdict explaining the reasons. Instead, the court issued a notification to prevent them from appealing further. Zhang Jianbo's family has been to Shaoxing's National People's Congress and other relevant authorities, where they reported the illegal conduct of Shaoxing City Intermediate People's Court, but they were ignored by the Shaoxing governmental departments. They have has also been to Zhejiang Province Court and National People's Congress, but these officials also avoided the issue and shirked responsibility.

Mr. Xu Xiaolong has been unlawfully detained for five years. His term was due to expire on October 27, 2004, and he should have been released unconditionally. However, because Xu Xiaolong has written many letters to procuratorial departments about the brutal torture of Falun Dafa practitioners in Tianjin Prison, prison officials accused Mr. Xu of beating people. They colluded with Tianjin Liqizhuang Local Police Station and sent him for 15 days of administrative detention. As of this writing, Xu Xiaolong's right forearm is injured and swollen. The details are unclear.

In the detention center, Xu Xiaolong again submitted many written statements to the Supreme People's Procuratorate about the persecution he had suffered in Tianjin Prison. A few days ago, staff of the Procuratorate came to investigate. The illegal detention of Xu Xiaolong is due to expire on November 10, 2004, but Liqizhuang Local Police Station intends to sentence him to forced labor. They have applied to the Reeducation through Forced Labor Bureau for approval.

Falun Dafa practitioner Cheng Guijun of Dongguang County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province was arrested in November 2002. Later he was sentenced to two years of forced labor and detained in Kaiping Forced Labor Camp. The term is due to expire in November 2004, but so far Cheng has not been released.

On October 13, Sang Wenli and her daughter were arrested by Wei Guoqing. On October 27, Ms. Yang Shuru and Ms. Song Canying (from another area) were seized by patrol officers while they were distributing truth-clarification materials in Fucheng County. The police did not notify their families. The family members found out that they were being held at Fucheng County Detention Center after several days of searching.

On October 31, Ms. Shi Xiaoqin was taken away from home by Wei Guoqing and other policemen.

In October, Wei Guoqing and Li Dongqiang searched Yang Jinchi's home and confiscated Falun Dafa books and some other property. They have harassed Yang Jinchi many times at home. Yang Jinchi is now forced to stay away from his home to avoid further persecution.

Mr. Liu Guixiang is over 50 years old and from the Molidawa Banner of Hulunbeiermeng in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In January 2001, he went to Beijing to appeal and was taken back by the local police station, and then he was detained at Tumuji Forced Labor Camp in Inner Mongolia. He was released when the term expired. However, he was arrested again and detained at Wuyuan Forced Labor Camp in Huhhot City because he wrote to the local government to expose the torture of Falun Dafa practitioners in the forced labor camp.

Ms. Yuan Xiaoling is about 30 years old. She was arrested in mid-2001 and detained at Shenzhen XiliHu Collection Post (the brainwashing center there has been shut down since then). She was firm in practicing Falun Gong. She did not cooperate with any order or request from the persecutors, and conducted a hunger strike to resist the persecution for a long time. She was force-fed and then transferred to Meilin No. 1 Detention Center in Shenzhen. Because she refused to give up Falun Dafa, she was sentenced to eight years in prison. According to recent reliable information, Yuan Xiaoling has been secretly transferred to the Guangzhou City Women's Forced Labor Camp.

Ms. Wu Xiuqing works in Zhengding County Women and Children's Hospital. In October 2004, she clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to the child of a friend who sought medical treatment in the hospital and gave some truth-clarification material to the child. This child is a student at Zhengding High School in Hebei Province and gave the material to one of the teachers.

The teacher took the material and reported Wu Xiuqing to Zhengding County Public Security Bureau. Around October 13, Political Protection Section Chief Zhang Ruiyu of Zhengding County Public Security Bureau led a team to search Wu Xiuqing's home and office and took her to Zhengding County Detention Center.

Around 7:30 p.m. on October 23, 2004, Ms. Tong Yuzhen of Weixing Chemical Factory in Xinle City distributed Falun Gong flyers at Xinle City Railway Station. She was arrested and held in Xinle City Railway Police Station, and then was moved to the Shijiazhuang Railway Local Police Station. On the same day, the police searched her home. They confiscated two boxes of Falun Gong materials and books. She is now being detained at Shijiazhuang Railway Local Police Station. Further details are unknown.

At 6:30 p.m. on October 31, 2004, Shijiazhuang "610 Office" colluded with Zhou Chouxun from the Xinle City Political Protection Section, Xinle City "610 Office" policeman Song Libo and 20 other policemen. They rushed into Dafa practitioner Liang Jingrong's home, but Liang was not home.

Then at 7:30 p.m. the group of policemen rushed into the automobile accessories store owned by Mr. Shi Jinzhong. Shi Jinzhong was there by himself. At 8:30 p.m., when the police were checking the computer, Shi Jinzhong escaped with righteous thoughts.

Mr. Han Xinji is an employee of No. 2 Xianhe Oil Extraction Factory in Shengli Oil Field. On November 5, 2004, Han Xinji spoke to people on a public bus about Falun Gong, and was arrested by Huantai County Public Security Bureau. Then, Xianhe Oil Extraction Factory staff member Shang Baoqiang led people to search Mr. Han's home. Han Xinji is still being held at Huantai County Public Security Bureau and his relatives are not allowed to visit.

Ms. Zhao Xinmei from Yanbian was reported for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in a taxi and was arrested by officers from the "610 Office" several days ago. She is now detained in the Yanji City Detention Center. The police of Yanbian National Security Team said that they would release her if she agreed to write a "Repentance Statement." Otherwise, they would sentence her to two years of forced labor. However, Ms. Zhao was not moved. She has been on a hunger strike for five days now to resist the persecution. The policemen have tried the different means at their disposal but could not make her renounce her belief.

Ms. Liu Wenwen, who was arrested several days ago, is also conducting a hunger strike. She has been on hunger strike since she was first detained and has done everything in her power to resist the persecution. She has also clarified the truth to the people in the same cell.

Mr. Jin Fu and Ms. Sheng Cai (husband and wife) from Anguo City, Baoding District, Hebei Province have had to stay away from their home for the past four years in order to avoid persecution for practicing the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and wanting be good people. The police department has issued an all points warrant for their arrest. They only came home two months ago.

On the night of November 6, someone reported them to the authorities. After the public security bureau got instructions directly from the City Party Committee Assistant Secretary Yang Ning, the National Security Team worked with the Anguo City Qiaonan Local Police Station to arrest this couple. They are now being held in the Anguo City Detention Center.
