Those Who Persecute Falun Dafa Meet with Karmic Retribution

[Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.]

Li County Political and Judiciary Committee secretary Zeng Lingqing, age 55, was known for his persistence in the brutal persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. During the first half of 2000, the illicit sexual relations between Zeng Lingqing and his mistress was investigated by the mistress's husband. The husband, employed as Zeng Lingqing's driver, then killed his boss in a fit of rage.

Tu Yunpu, age 52, chief of the local police station in the Bianmao area of Liyang Town, Li County, Hunan Province, assisted Jiang in irrationally and brutally persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners, for reasons of personal fame and gain. On the night of October 22, 2003, his wife came home from playing mahjong to find her husband dead from a sudden illness.

Chen Weiming, a driver for the Wuandatong Town Police Station, actively persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners and slandered Dafa many times. He is now bedridden with uremia.

Chen (given name not known) is the Party secretary of Wuandatong Village. He slandered Dafa and abducted practitioners several times. He has now been removed from office.

Liu Qingshu, a driver for the Wuandatong Town government, reviled and slandered Dafa. He is now paralyzed on one side of his body and cannot take care of himself.

Li Yuqi is a school principal in Lancun Village, Wuandatong Town. He compiled poetry slandering Dafa for his students to recite. Li Yuqi has recently had a car accident in which his leg was fractured.
