Malaysian Practitioners Introduce Falun Dafa at a Supermarket (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 23-30, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioners in Johor, Malaysia rented a stand at the local Carrefour Supermarket, to display picture boards introducing Falun Dafa's popularity and spread around the world. The practitioners also displayed Dafa books and demonstrated the exercises when there were many people around.

As it happened to be the time that the supermarket was offering a big sales promotion, many people came to do their shopping. The stand was open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 at night. Tens of thousands of shoppers saw our stand over the course of the eight days that we were at the supermarket. Many of them accepted our truth clarification materials. Some who had been deceived by the Jiang faction's lies seemed to be shocked at seeing us, wondering, how could Falun Gong be here? Practitioners took the opportunity to clarify the truth to them. Many practitioners came to help at the stand after they were off work in the evening.

Many people had never seen the Falun Gong exercises. When practitioners demonstrated the exercises in front of the stand, many people would be attracted and stop to watch. They were amazed at seeing practitioners sitting in the full lotus position. Some people thus wanted to come and learn the exercises.
