By a Falun Dafa practitioner from China

(Clearwisdom.net) Shenyang Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yu Ming was secretly transferred to the Hebei Province First Labor Camp in Kaiping District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province (zip code: 063021).

Yu Ming had been secretly jailed at the Beijing Women's Labor "Re-education" Camp (in the youth team). Yu Ming wrote an appeal to sue Jiang Zemin for his criminal actions towards practitioners and their families and was detained by the team leader.

Team leader Zeng from the youth team at the Beijing Women's Labor Camp said, "Yu Ming is suing Jiang Zemin. How can we hand in this kind of appeal letter? Anyway, these days, the number of appeal letters suing Jiang Zemin cannot even be held in a large bag. Even if we hand it in, the courts would not dare to read it!" In their fear, the police escalated their persecution of practitioners. Yu Ming continued to go on a hunger strike in order to protest the mistreatment.

Yu Ming had become a successful businessman in the Shenyang fashion industry before the age of 30. After the persecution of Falun Dafa started on July 20, 1999, he appealed to the government, telling them of the personal benefits he gained in his health and business after practicing. However, he was jailed and tortured numerous times. His father passed away because he could not bear the trauma of his son's detention. His wife was also jailed due to her connection to him. His factory was forced to close down and no one could look after his three-year-old daughter. Luckily, she was later taken in by some kind-hearted people.

Yu Ming was jailed at the notorious Beijing Tuanhe Labor Camp for six months and due to his unwillingness to give up Falun Dafa, his sentencing was unlawfully extended for another 10 months. He was then transferred to the group training team at Beijing City Labor Re-education Personnel Allocation Department for "severe re-education management" (brainwashing and torture).

Due to his righteous thoughts and actions, he was very popular amongst the re-education personnel and police at the labor camp. The evil could not "manage" him so they could only transfer him to the youth team at the female labor camp. In the end, Yu Ming walked out of the labor camp with his righteous thoughts.

Yu Ming is very tall and handsome and is extremely kind to others. He is very determined in his belief in Falun Dafa. His righteous poems and verses praising Teacher and condemning the persecution are both cultured and elegant. His characters are beautifully written and extremely moving. Many practitioners as well as team leaders, police and custodians read his works in private.

During his long-term detention, he endured gruesome tortures. He was tied to the "dead person's bed" (1) twice and tortured with numerous electric batons for many hours. It all ended with his amazing determination and wisdom. He went on hunger strikes numerous times and appealed to higher authorities. This actually brought admonishment to the police at the labor camp and for a very long time the police inside the Tuanhe Labor Camp dared not to use electric batons on practitioners. When people mentioned Yu Ming, even the police would say that he was noble and admirable. The re-education team leaders and custodians that monitored him admired and feared him. Many custodians were proud to monitor Yu Ming and helped him to pass messages and be on the look out for team leaders.

In 2001, during the darkest days at the Tuanhe Labor Camp, Yu Ming's righteous thoughts and actions made the leader of the 2nd team, Ni Zhenxiong, apologize in public and allow practitioners read the real article written by Teacher. After Yu Ming righteously walked out of the labor camp, he rejoined the current of Fa-rectification.

On October 28, 2003, Yu Ming was arrested again at the Beijing Lugu Police Station. When the police from the personnel allocation department heard that Yu Ming was back, they got a "big headache." Tuanhe Labor Camp did not dare to take Yu Ming either. The evil officials from Beijing tried to transfer him back to Shenyang Labor Camp but they did not want him either and neither did the Jilin Re-education Labor Camp Department. In the end, in April 2004, due to pressure from higher levels and after Yu Ming was unlawfully held in detention at the personnel transfer department for more than six months, Tuanhe Labor Camp was forced to take him. At the time, practitioners from the 3rd team were all protesting the persecution. When Mr. Bai Shaohua was protesting, Yu Ming helped him by protesting too. That night, the police secretly transferred him to the youth team at the female labor camp. Not long afterwards, he was again secretly transferred to the Hebei Province First Labor Camp in Kaiping District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province.

Note:

1. Dead person's bed: The four limbs of the practitioner are stretched out and tied to the four corners of an icy-cold metal bed. The practitioner cannot move at all. Neither is he allowed to get up to eat, drink, or go to the bathroom. This treatment would last from several hours up to more than a dozen days. This type of cruel torture causes severe damage to the practitioner both mentally and physically.
