Chile: Practitioners Hold a Series of Truth-Clarification Activities during the 12th APEC Summit in Santiagoe (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 21 and 22, 2004, the 12^th APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Corporation) Summit Meeting was conducted in Santiago, Chile. The President of China Hu Jintao attended the meeting. Falun Gong practitioners from Chile and other countries utilized this opportunity to introduce Falun Gong and expose the persecution to the Chinese delegation and people from different circles. They called for attention to the persecution of Falun Gong that has been going on for more than five years in China. From November 15 to 22, Falun Gong practitioners also hold activities in Chile's Capital, Santiago and surrounding cities to introduce Falun Dafa.

The APEC Summit was held in Espacio Riesco, far from Santiago's financial center. Practitioners went there and demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and handed out flyers near the two entrances of the convention hall. Several TV stations and newspapers interviewed practitioners and covered their activities.

Another group of Falun Gong practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts in front of the Chinese Embassy in Chile.

Some practitioners held poster exhibition at Santiago subway stations.

Practitioners also went to a nearby seashore city Vi del Mar to distribute truth-clarification materials and introduce Falun Dafa to local citizens. Many people learned the exercises after watching our exercise demonstration.
