Practitioner Que Shanyan from Shanghang County, Fujian Province Tortured to Death in 2001


(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Que Shanyan from Shanghang County, Fujian Province died of torture in Shanghang County Detention Center in 2001.

Mr. Que Shanyan was in his 60's, a villager in Dadong Village, Tongxian Township, Shanghang County, Fujian Province. He went to Beijing twice to appeal for justice for Falun Gong and was detained twice by Shanghang County Police. During the second detention, he was tortured by policemen Huang Liexiang, Chen Xi-An, and Zhong Xuankui for his unyielding faith to persist in Falun Dafa. He became very weak and died at noon on January 31, 2001 in Shanghang County Detention Center.
