Japan: Practitioners Teach Falun Gong at Elementary School for the First Time (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On October 26, 2004, 6 practitioners taught Falun Gong exercises in a gym of a Tokyo elementary school. About 150 people including all three classes of second grade and their parents attended the workshop.

One of the practitioners said that she was elected to service the Parent Committee of her son's class. She thus recommended Falun Gong at a parent meeting. After half year of planning, the school arranged this Falun Gong workshop for students and parents.

The practitioner who lectured at the workshop is also an experienced teacher, and her instruction style was very friendly and easy to take for the students and parents. Though it was the first time for them to learn Falun Gong, everyone acknowledges Falun Gong's principles "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" and learned the exercises seriously. Some students and parents could even do the double-folding position [the required position for the fifth Falun Gong exercises, it is hard for some beginners.] right away!

After the workshop, many student and parents said that they felt great after practicing. A student said: "It is wonderful, my body become very light and I can jump higher;" some said: "Great, I feel that my brain can concentrate more after practicing;" some said: "'Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance' is good!" another student said: "I want to learn more, I hope Falun Gong practitioners can teach me again."
