Relatives of Dafa Practitioners Bravely Offer Their Support

Mr. Qu's Story

Mr. Qu is a kind-hearted and intelligent person. He is also a high-ranking Party member. Since July 1999, Mr. Qu's home has become a place where practitioners stay and meet, and it is a distribution center for Falun Gong informational materials. Mr. Qu is a strong supporter of Dafa and cares about Dafa practitioners a lot. When he learns that practitioners have been illegally arrested, he feels very upset.

Mr. Qu is well respected for his aboveboard conduct and consideration for others. Many of his old colleagues and former subordinates are working in law enforcement, judiciary and prosecutorial organizations. He told them the facts about Falun Gong and asked them not to participate in the persecution.

Once, many practitioners came to his home to make banners. Mr. Qu helped prepare meals for them.

A labor camp refused to give winter clothing Dafa practitioners. After learning that practitioners were suffering from the cold weather, Mr. Qu used his connections and successfully provided a truckload of winter clothing and food for those practitioners.

A Dafa practitioner was abducted while traveling. Knowing that the practitioner would be sent to prison, Mr. Qu tried to rescue the practitioner through his connections. There were many obstacles, but Mr. Qu successfully rescued the practitioners in the end.

There are many more stories about Mr. Qu, but he never boasts about himself.

As a matter of fact, Mr. Qu's family suffers from the persecution greatly. His wife is treated as a key practitioner locally and has been arrested many times. Mr. Qu's son is a graduate from a well-known university. Because of his persistence in practicing Falun Gong, he was sent to prison and has been on hunger strike, even now. Mr. Qu's daughter was put on the police's wanted list because of her practice of Falun Gong. She was forced to leave home after her graduation from the university.

Mr. Qu bears great pains in his heart and his hair has turned gray since the persecution started. In spite of the unbearable pressure, Mr. Qu continues to support Dafa and Dafa practitioners.

Mr. Wang's Story

From his family members' practice of Falun Gong, Mr. Wang learned that Falun Gong is good and beneficial to people. After the persecution started on July 20 of 1999, Mr. Wang continued to support Dafa.

There was one period when truth clarification materials were in short supply, making Mr. Wang very worried. One day he met a practitioner at a wedding party while he was clarifying the truth of Falun Gong to other people. Since then, Mr. Wang has been supplied with materials.

Hearing that some practitioners were afraid to distribute truth clarification materials, he said, "I'm not afraid. I will do it, as this is a way to save people." Each time after he distributes the materials, he would go back and check. If the materials were thrown away, he would pick them up and reuse them. He does not waste any of them.

Once he picked up a torn flyer and a practitioner suggested throwing it away, as it could not be reused. Mr. Wang said that it would be a shame to do so, because practitioners have put in so much effort to produce them. Mr. Wang carefully put the flyer aside and stored it.

Two practitioners escaped from the police station. In order to protect them, Mr. Wang helped them hide in a mountain nearby. He delivered meals to them every day. After finding a safe place for the practitioners, Mr. Wang helped them break through many blockades and obstacles before arriving at a safe place.

The above are some touching stories of Dafa practitioners' family members. Indeed, practitioners' family members are a special group of people who have endured unimaginable tribulations and pressure in the past five years. Their support of Dafa and Dafa practitioners will be remembered in the future.
